Start with Tumamoc a couple times a week. It isn't really hiking, because it's paved, but it's a good workout and it's accessible. I obsessively watched Iowa football during the end of his tenure at ISU (I had a family member on the team), and I was very much less than impressed with Rhoads when they played. Maybe he's a better coordinator than head coach. We'll see.

Rollie's is really solid. I've always been a West Side guy, but now that I live and work on the South Side, I've really come to appreciate 12th Ave.

I'm going to Chef Alisah's tomorrow with some friends. I can't wait. It's my absolute favorite restaurant, and it's been way too long.

I like the red chili at Anita more, but St. Mary's is good. Definitely grab a pack of their tortillas, as they are the best in town. Their birria can be really good, but it's pretty hit and miss.

I bought a Coronado National Forest annual pass and am planning on taking full advantage of it. I usually get way out of shape in the summer because it's too hot to walk Tumamoc, but my goal is to break that pattern this year.
