They might think it will be easier on the team if he isnt on the sidelines. It is also great that ESPN wasted time and money sending their investigative reporters to Eugene and now he doesnt have to talk to any of them after the game.

He could just not coach tonight and then see what happens before next Thursday. This was all a little sudden so maybe he just doesnt want to be a distraction while the game is going on or have to discuss it with reporters afterwards.

Our bench has been playing well for a few weeks now. They just haven't been scoring because they haven't taken many shots. Other than Akot missing a few assignments getting back to Thompson, that was one of our better defensive halves of the season.

For the game on Thursday, we were even with Arizona State when Ristic and Ayton were in the game together and plus seven when they were not. This number was even more skewed against USC.
