Re: Tommy Lloyd
So Bobby Robbins makes a crony hire and gives some BS interviews to beloved, talented alumni in the process, who he was never seriously considering and really to me reeks of racism? God I hate this doctor. For the record, I wouldn't have wanted Coach Stoudamire, Miles, Luke Walton or any alums repla...

Journalism is an incredibly vital field. Journalists seem to be self selected, rotten, arrogant losers with pulpits of varying sizes. Tucson media, hacks like Pops Hansen, try hards like Ari Alexander ("oh man I love Kanye" is not a personality btw), and of course Schlabach. Seems like they are all ...

God this is beyond depressing. Damon- not up to snuff. Pastner- makes up for being a cheater by not being up to snuff. Beilein- ask recruits and their families how his comments that got him fired by the Cavs make them feel. Please no. We fired a coach with a .700 winning record, no Book to cause tro...

Hard to even care at this point about Arizona athletics. I know we all enjoyed Lute, but I can't wait for the "strange new respect" most of my not online friends will have for Miller about 3 games into next season until whoever replaces these Bobby and his pool** boy at the helm are gone. **lakehous...

We can absolutely become Washington State if Bobby and mid major Dave got this wrong. Fire Miller? Do it in 2018. This is gutless nonsense from the Doctor. Lloyd may be lightning in a bottle. I won't pretend to say otherwise. I don't like or have ANY respect the way Robbins goes about his business a...

So here we are. Incoherent rants incoming. Apologies if this belongs in another thread. Whatever you think about Miller, wherever book buried the bodies, two decades after Minneapolis, we will see if this is really a basketball school. Those of you in the know (97, Choo, and others) do you have any ...

I want Baker back and Brown if hes up for it. I'm not ready to crown Kerr as the second coming from a handful of games- although I like what I saw. I also REALLY enjoy Jemarls' tee shirt acumen. I just don't see any way that Jamarye isn't a surefire starter at one of the wideout spots. Other wildcards to me are Christian Young and Tayvian.

Damn. I understand that this is best for Ira. -But I'll say this: I love seniors in college basketball. Ryan Milus- ended up enrolling at ASU and running track. They tried to sneak him onto the football roster if I recall correctly. I just miss teams that didn't get it pushed in when they lost. I started my relationship with Arizona as a freshman in the dorms in 05. No bowls until my 4th year in school (I call it my redshirt junior year), but the team seemed to play it close, or at least was physically up to the fight aside fro...

Did some digging- Simpsons' HS also produced Dwight Freeney. Not that it speaks to the level of competition, but it looks like the public schools in Hartford are in the same conference so I would presume its the largest schools in the state. Hopefully hes a player, hope he enjoys the heck out of bei...

Jedd still has to win me over, and its a fairly short leash. That said, I'm not sure what he could've done better so far. Short of getting 10 top 50 recruits, bringing the only 3 playmakers at wideout back, a corner whose the level of athlete we simply haven't had in years, and a 6'8 DE are a good s...

Davonte started at both corner and receiver during different seasons- including in a New Years 6 Fiesta Bowl. He never lived up to expectations but if Isaiah is a competent, servicable corner at Neals its a huge upgrade over a lot of the guys we've had trying to fill out a two deep over the past few...

A few pointers for the next time you head down. 1) With a family, don't sit in the South End Zone. I'd say West side or the new sections are your best bet. 2) For facilities, the swim and dive center is usually unlocked. One of my favorite places for that experience on campus. Science & Engineering ...

Hoping we get to see big years from these guys. I've always had a weird pet peeve about guys that don't redshirt and don't have productive seasons (Haden and apparently Kwesi)- I'd love to see Haden find a way to maximize his eligibility.

Don't see it happening. I hope Naji gets it together, not one to root against teenagers unless they turn out to be true monsters. That said, his persona on social media didn't sit well with the staff. More importantly, he was dropped from the class once he got on a plane to Seattle. Not the other wa...

I think this recruiting class will be the one where we see just how good this staff is at identifying who and what they want to bring on campus.
Remember none of these guys were from the West Coast, this entire recruiting network was build ground up starting in 2011.

I think people are going to find out very quickly how good Jaelen Strong (and to a lesser extent, Cam Smith) were and how valuable they were to the Devils. They run a very deliberate offense behind one of the worst pass protection schemes since 2011 and absent a create-a-player on the outside I'm no...

How on earth would Jonathan Haden be a redshirt freshman if he played in 12 games?
I'd be ecstatic, I'm always bummed when guys use a year of eligibility on the punt team. But I don't see how its possible

As long as Nicks' head is good to go (which big picture has little to do with bye weeks), and Baker/'Lando/Haden bring the wood, I'm not sweating the lack of a bye.
Momentum is huge and having that buy-in every week could be a blessing this season.
