Re: 2016 Recruit/Commitment Thread

What QB does he remind you of? Quick view of the tapes reminds me a bit of a slightly shorter Mariota. Good awareness, deceptive speed, accurate and can drop the ball in where he wants it, not a huge arm but decent, looks like he has good vision. Mechanics when he's rushed is spotty, but when he th...

I frankly have no idea why some people get so worked up about our recruits not being able to play the 2, 3 or 4 positions--as Miller has recruited the positions to the point of our personnel being more or less interchangeable with them. He said as much in one of his first interviews after being hir...

Giggled like a school girl during that Pac12 championship game, has to be it. Wasn't just the humiliation of the Schmucks, but the fact that we were playing our best basketball of the season at the right time.....Damnit!!! (Dekker flashback)

Starting to think Tollefson > Rabb in just about all facets. Zeus is back, so post runs through him and Ristic. We are thin at wing where it seems Tollefson can play in a pinch. Also have concerns about how SJ adapts to the league. Had similar thoughts about Dwill. Been thinking a bunch about this game. Been trying to recall a more impressive burst of offense to close out a tourney game. Reminds me a bit of 2011. A 5 seed going up against the 1 seed in the S16. We had them off balance in the first half. Despite the foul situation I only wish we would have ratcheted up the physical play. That would have been the only answer to getting them out of shooting rhythm. An impressive display for sure.

Proud of the team, I think they fought until the end.

More curious how we are going to deal with the high ball screen by Kambitchsky. Most bigs can't shoot threes so we just hedge it hard, but pretty dangerous in this case. Can't really switch either unless Miller is going to send once he goes low. I also want our guys to deny the ball to the post. The...
