Re: 2014-15 NBA Trade Deadline Thread
A Knight-Bledsoe backcourt is dynamic and just awesome.
Knight is a good shooter and better off the ball. Bledose can play off the ball but a bit better with it. Both very good defenders. Perfect match, even better than Dragic IMO.

Re: 2014-15 NBA Trade Deadline Thread
One thing being lost here is the inclusion of McRoberts. He could be an interesting piece next season for the Suns not to mention a potential trade chip as well. Hes on the MLE but is a good passer who plays well in space, especially int eh pick and roll.
Solid backup for Markieff.

Sarver now saying he wont deal Dragic. If they can get 2 1sts from the Heat I don't know why you don't do that. No way Suns would even give him 5 years anyway. So whats the point?

Great move by the Suns to acquire another asset in Wright, who is the best finisher in the entire league (statistically) and can provide some length at PF/C.
Also, Memphis looks formidable adding Green. He is the perfect fit for them on both sides of the ball.

First of all, let me say I like the Mozgov addition. He helps on both ends of the floor, protects the rim and Blatt coached him on the Russian national team. That said, moving that Memphis 1st (plus another, potentially) for him is a lot. If Gasol leaves, that Memphis pick could turn into a lotto pi...

Going to be closer to $32 mil sent with Kemp. Great deal for the Padres with Kemp living in SD, wanting to play here, and the Pads essentially paying him $15 mil per. Lots more moves needed, but I think they go after Upton, not risk there. Hes a FA after this year so they either resign him, flip him...

York is fine when he sets his feet, or gets into the hop. He cant shoot very well on the move. He has been doing a good job of squaring up and setting his feet prior to catching the ball.

I mean, we have to factor in what defense our offense is facing as well. Obviously if we had Ashley our offense looks better. Same goes if York ends up being the shooter we needed in difficult spots. That said, Wisconsin was the 49th ranked adjusted defense, but was the 4th rated adjusted offense. O...

Miller is proving that with elite athletes in his packline system, he can trot out an elite defense every year. Whats wrong with that? The advanced stats and analytic guys are not going to grade out our players very well (See Gordon, Johnson, ect. via Kevin Pelton), but Miller's system works. Its n...

I still want Rich Rod, but want him to change the 3-3-5. Not much difference. Nothing wrong with a man-to-man defense, instead of pressure man-to-man defense. Packline defense is for less talented teams, uva & Bennett is a great example. Instead of a Donovan, Pitino defense which actually benefit t...

I just really can't imagine anything changing the fact that Sean Miller runs a packline defense and a motion offense at any time in the near or far future. Exactly. $20 mil guaranteed only for next season. Years 2 and 3 are essentially option years for us. Considering we have no viable QB to insert in the next 2 years, this is a good deal. Fitz is gonna have to restructure though.

We dont know the final details of the contract other than it is three years fully guaranteed. Until we know that, I would assume his contract will look close to this:

16-17: $980,431
17-18: $1,251,245 (qualifying offer)
