Re: 2024-25 Arizona Basketball
I'm not nearly as high on Dell'Orso as the apparent word coming out of the program. Hes more skilled than Bal, and a n actual fit at G compared to Boro. I would not be relying on him to cover all our minutes though. Huge step up in competition, he isn't a good defender, and he's not exactly quick or...

Re: 2024-25 Arizona Basketball
Lloyd has some work to do this summer. Get Riley and we're good, but there's a big hole at guard off the bench, not to mention consistent shooting with at least medium volume.
Not sold on anything Dell'Orso until I see him play in Tucson.

The longer it takes, the less I believe the $1M NIL offer is real. I would bet even money that he ends up overseas since the league has no interest in him. The rumor was definitely real. Tho that is a different thing from the $$$ being real. From day 1 I have wondered if Lloyd would let Love come b...

I also was ready to move on from Ballo. He was productive, but it just was never going to work to have him roaming down the lane on dives after ball screens, because nobody was going to give him a runway anymore to catch lobs, the FT shooting was a massive issue, and he just isn't good enough to dro...

Going to need to see him in a UA uniform to have a solid opinion, but not the biggest fan. I'm not expecting a 18.6% DRB%, but am expecting his 30% USG to fall off a cliff, his 54% eFG% to potentially slide, and not sure if he's 38% or 32% from three. He's not bringing much on defense either. I know...

I read the tweet more as if Love comes back I'm a 2025 kid anyways, but if he doesn't come back, he'll just reclassify to 2024 No chance he is staying in 2025. I went through a couple Texas games this morning, mainly @ Kansas and TCU, and have a few brief takeaways on Ramey and his fit. First, the focus around him is definitely defensively. I dont think Terry should come in expecting to be a primary ball handler. They have no way to make any moves without trading THT or Westbrook. Terry will play in the NBA. The question is how much and for how long? That will depend on his jumper. It still has a long way to go, but you dont find may guys with his size and length who defend, can handle the ball and pass like he can.

I think I might respectfully disagree. It's a personal thing, maybe, but the 14-15, 16-17 and 17-18 Miller teams (which I'd vote for as the best 3 offenses of his era) were all top 15 in points per possession. 14-15 and 16-17 didn't get a ton of points from size and at the rim, IMO. Lauri was the b...

Not enough creativity or pace, IMO, to support two "PGs". This current system and staff could support it though. Just how I see it. Yes, Miller ran a lot of DHOs, but most of it was for show and to create ball movement in an offense that was consistently attacking into crowds of defenders. Thats why...
