Re: Allonzo Trier
I could make the argument that Miller has several dudes that have been in the NBA that nobody, including posters here, thought was possible. This seems more valuable in recruiting to me. My original comment was just related to Spiff saying we could claim we've had lottery picks recently. Basically,...

If it helps recruiting, great. If Trier & Ayton don't get an NBA opportunity, it tells me Arizona overachieved this season. It also tells me the people who do these NBA draft projections are off quite often. And actually, they do more harm by raising expectations on players that shouldn't really be...

Re: 2018 Non-Arizona March Madness Game Thread
It's depressing watching these teams that are less talented make it so far in the tournament. I can't decide if I should keep watching or not. It's crazy, isn't it? It makes the notion of "talent" seem silly or irrelevant. I mean, Duke is still around, so there's that. They've arguably supplanted U...

PJC wasn't that disappointing but just very physically limited. IMO, it would be more disappointing if he had greater ability and didn't play to it. As others have said, the most disappointing thing was that Miller didn't recruit someone better to be the starter.

Except that RichRod won, and had the most exciting QB in the nation in the month of November, and still no one in Tucson cared enough to show up. Look how differently Hansen treated Tomey v. To be fair, the GameDay crew essentially said that the only surprising thing is that Miller was dumb enough to be the point man. They didn't deny that this occurs throughout college sports. Not much to disagree with there.
