Now 2.55 inches of rain at Sky Harbor, the fifth wettest day ever and it's only a little after 6 am. Plus the rain is expected to continue until noon and later today.
This is crazy and I have to drive to work now. I left myself an extra 20 minutes. At least the freeways I take aren't flooded.

Re: The Weather is Crazy
Phoenix is getting clobbered with tropical rain. We received over 2" of rain in a couple of hours. I'm watching cars driving through flooded freeways. Some freeways are closed in sections. I-10 is a lake in places. Sky Harbor has received 2 inches of rain all year. They received more than that in 2 ...

Anu really needs a lot of work. If I was UTSA I would make Solomon through out patterns to his left. Anu has a tendency to roll right and throw that direction. Or he may throw inside slant patterns to his left. Overplay those angles and see if Solomon can throw to his left with consistency.

The driver should not have gotten out of the wing sprint while the other cars were moving. In any case I doubt Tony Stewart's life will ever be the same. His silence isn't helping. He will get booed everywhere. I wonder what will happen to his endorsements.

Phoenix is really surprising me the more I get to know it. I guess it's the perspective one takes that determines ones viewpoint of a place, or anything for that matter. A lot of my perception was based on hearsay and ignorance, instead of experience. Yes, I don't like a lot of the architecture, or ...

As I'm getting to know the area I'm becoming really happy about the choice I made where to live. Healthy restaurants close by. I just got done running after dark and, I swear, the temperature didn't drop a single degree. I drank well over 1/2 gallon of water after running 3 miles. I'm missing Tucson's cooler weather when the sun goes down. This is just hellish. I'm not used to this kind of heat all the time.

The key word is food. What most of us eat today I wouldn't even classify as food. They are a list of chemicals that looks like food, or "processed food". One piece of advice I read that if you couldn't buy it 100 years ago don't eat it. https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xfp1/t1.0-9/1...
