Either way to get the thread back on track the focus is on Haarms big time. Arizona hasn't given up on Walton, but they've gotten way more aggressive with Charles Minlend, so it's probably a first to commit situation now. I think the international guard happens too, but I don't know complete detail...

With maybe no football this year and losing that revenue, and needing to fire Sumlin first I don't see any harm in giving Miller an extension. Especially one that fixes the clause where he gets paid more if he gets fired WITH cause. Truth be told Miller should either be fired or extended right now....

The sanctions are meaningless (if you don't believe me look at USC's recruiting), the 1 year remaining on his contract is every thing. Choo- wouldn’t it behoove both parties to have signed an extension this offseason that wouldn’t change our buyout numbers? So that Miller isn’t recruiting with one ...

Honestly, I wouldn’t mind moving on now. What is this lame duck season going to do for us? We’re gonna be super mediocre next year. Would rather move on, get a new coach in place and get started on the 2021 class.

Will be competing with Baker for minutes. Jemarl needed competition, and good insurance for Akinjo missing first semester as Choo and others have discussed. Seems like we may play a decent amount of time with two of Akinjo, Terrell Brown, and Jemarl on the floor together as somewhat of a two-PG lin...

Yup, he'd fit right in wouldn't he? Yeah, I just don't get what Miller is looking for, outside of small transfer PGs who aren't very good. Don’t want to be a Miller defender here but to be fair, he’s not the most efficient player but he averaged 21, 6, and 5 and was a first team all WAC player this...

Good to hear Choo. Wonder if the potential new assistant may have some sway with Terrell Brown from USeattle as well. Seems like he would be a solid GT add (although we’ve certainly gone down that road before and been disappointed).

Ok good...just worried he's got the same slow feet issues defensively, and isn't much of a creator. Feels like a shooting specialist to me, but I'm glad you like him a lot more.

Is this 100% related to the investigation? It's part of it, but certainly not the biggest issue. Also a grad transfer we wanted just chose Xavier over us. Chris Jans This is a hire I could get behind, the dude knows how to coach. I'm into Jans, he's very good. Gotta think we give Holtmann and Scott Drew a lot of attention to start though, right? Beilein with an outside shot. More than anything, we need a coach that is willing to develop players.

Just my opinion but I think people expecting Terry to be a primary ball handler at any point next year are going to be disappointed...and I don't think Baker should be handling many PG minutes either, he's much more of a 2-guard imo.
