Last year, defensively, we were far from Desert Swarm but not terrible either. We were losing games from a lack of offense. We supposedly have more talent and more experience this year so what's wrong? The big difference is the coordinator. I think he deserves more than one year but things need to c...

My Fandom for UofA started in 1968 during Mudra's tenure. I lived in the same dorm with a lot of the players and knew a lot of them. I have a lot of fun stories about them. I remember the defensive coordinator was Royal Price and he was a ton of mean. A lot of people thought Frank Kush was mean but ...

When Singer was asked in the presser about the physicality of NDSU he said it wasn’t about how physical they were but more like they were taking cheap shots. Watching NDSU I thought they were a dirty team. Yes they're physical but I saw a lot of forearms to the face away from the ball after the pla...

I hate this game is on the schedule, just stupid. Playing FCS schools is a no win situation. It's like a 6th grader fighting a 3rd grader. If you win it's because you are supposed to, if you lose it's just a huge embarrassment. IIRC, UCLA, USC and ND have never played a FCS school, although I think...

I thought JDL was a bit rattled most of the evening. I think he's a serious athlete and introspective enought that he probably knows where all of his mistakes were. I also thought Fafita looked the best of all the QBs. Very accurate with a nice touch. I don't think Fafita is going to play much this year. I think he's going to redshirt unless something really drastic happens. UW game. Up 16-7 and driving. 5 straight run plays, for 40 yards (35 total because of false start penalty). 1st and 10 and the UW 28, and I know Fisch wanted to call a "safe" pass play, but why? This idea that you have to have spent 20 years coaching to recognize when playcalling is suboptimal is hilarious to me. We went 1-11. We scored less than 20 touchdowns during the entire season. A lot of times sports writers are simply cranking out click bait with no real thought behind it. That is what I think of that article. With what Fisch had to work with and the injuries, the man deserves a C+ at least. Just keeping a team's morale up and keeping them playing hard was an amazing feat.
