What do the people who run the NIL collectives say about Love returning? Lloyd still can't offer NIL money, but can only offer negotiating assistance with the player and the collective.
Although like tampering, it seems like a wink wink rule.

Re: Lets Talk '24
Just that if he does come back, I don't expect anything to change. Love is 23, and has been playing elite level NCAA basketball longer than Lloyd has been a head coach at any level. In any event, Lloyd's 3 transfer recruits last year were all signed in May, and no doubt things are in the works no on...

"Feels like home" is a great indicator for Arizona. But he already lives in the LA area for family and friends to see him, UCLA is a better school academically, and going to a better conference with better money, along with the great LA weather makes it a tough choice Don't think neither program hav...

You need potential NBA players to go far in the tourney. Easy choice then.
And if he isn't a 1&D, then we get years out of him, not just one more like you get with Love.

We all did, Irish. But even when I was there (late 90s/early 00s), college hoops had already started its transformation into a de facto minor league for the NBA (or pro leagues internationally). It wasn't until 1991 that Lute had a player leave who still has eligibility left, and that was BDub/Biso...

Yea, that's not happening. Fisch could use the excuse that he didn't know about the rape until after JDL was already enrolled as a student, but Brennan can't use it and it probably never came up in discussion.
If of all people Fisch won't pick up JDL to backup Rogers, then you know he is toxic.

That’s cute merk. Where abouts in Nc are they living? They lived in Havelock near New Bern. Really nice area, outside of the humidity and being in Trumpistan. My daughter bought her house site unseen in NC, and I told her the same thing, rent to know the area. She did fine though. None of my adult kids listen to me. Looks like a pretty nice apartment complex although they do seem a bit small but laid out very nicely. https://resource.rentcafe.com/image/up...

They could always go in and then come back out. But maybe going in means they'll get recruited over and if they don't end up finding a new school they're hosed. This is true. He had the highest draft potential, so good for him. Hope he has a very long NBA career, although from my understanding NBA players need to do one thing extremely well, and Larsson is good at everything, but great at nothing.

Old timers might remember UA QB Tom Tunnecliffe. His dad must have thought he was the next Joe Montana because he called up certain NFL teams and told them not to draft Tom. I can't see this ever gaining traction. The "Haves" of college football (B1G/SEC) are not going to share revenue with anyone. I think it's just to get NCAA out of football. Actually since Bradley is more of a combo guard, I would love to try Love as the PG if he returns, as long as he doesn't have the green light on the perimeter unless it's a "good shot", which apparently he still has yet to learn.

I guess you have to be a Mormon to be a BYU coach. Don't think any other religious schools require the coach to be the same religion as the school sponsor.
Only 2 years coaching in college, all the rest have been in different pro leagues so very limited recruiting experience.

Good article here on those transferring out during the Lloyd era. Very similar to the Lute era, where some thrived elsewhere (e.g. Ruben Douglas) while many just disappeared to the end of the bench at new spots. https://zonazealots.com/posts/where-are-they-now-what-happened-to-arizona-basketball-tra...

Looking at the dates when last season's incoming transfers were announced.
Keshad 5/20/23
Love 5/30/23
Bradley 5/3/23
If that pattern holds true for this upcoming season, still a lot of major changes to the roster that can happen.
