Expect RR to elect to receive if AZ wins the coin toss. They're going to want to make Purdue chase points, which is something they aren't equipped to do. Stay with the high percentage plays, move the chains, and take the shots when the chances are there. If you go three and out too many times Purdue...

Last year ASU was 56th or so in rushing defense AFTER Arizona put up 511 on them. This year they’re somewhere around 74th. Their passing defense is about as bad as last year’s was. Granted, AZ’s defense is worse in those categories, but they were also bad last year. If Tate connects on a few short p...

I don't expect Tate to win the Heisman this year. However, if he has two more solid games, and especially if Arizona wins out, he should definitely be invited to the ceremony. Tate needs to take the shorter routes because they're going to be there. Oregon State figured him out pretty well last night - if he's dropping back, get the safety back so he can roll over the top. One sportswriter - I forget who already - recently pointed out that in Stoops' first five years there were 20 games that weren't televised. All games are on TV now. Add in the late starts, no more SunTran shuttle (not the school's fault), and it's easier for a lot of people to stay home.

Here's the deal: take care of the ball, win the game. If there's one thing Cal is good at its feasting on turnovers. You can run on them. You can throw on them. But they're really good at swiping the ball and that is where they trip up teams.
