While I think most everyone here agrees with RHJ, I'd rather the actions/results on the court "do the actual talking".

I will put my two cents in as I used to be an Account Manager for one of the large ad agencies in NYC meaning I wrote brand strategies for breakfeast. You really need to look at this as one execution as part of an overall campaign, which is what I think the UA Football/marketing dept. is t...

Re: World Cup 2014
I am rooting for the Dutch today, mostly because I worked with a lot them over the years and I know how much they yearn for a World Cup. And a Germany vs. Netherlands final would be interesting for a lot of resons beyond 2 European powers playing each other. The Dutch loathe the Germans. if you've s...

Feeling like Anthony to the Lakers. Welcome back, Los Angeles. Sorry you had to go through that nearly half-decade with no championships. Looks like there's also talk of Lebron foregoing the max to join in. I just don't see Lebron going off to play alongside Kobe. I don't see how it would work. I w...

What a great Semis this week...4 powerhouse teams going at it.
Too bad about Neymar.
I'm picking Germany and the Dutch to make it an all-European final.

Just my opinion but our offensive philosophy doesn't lend itself well to producing high scoring players - which I feel is around 18+ a game. I think it's more important that your starting five is averaging from 8 to 15 points a game. It means you don't have to rely on any one scorer, whch is valuabl...

Great post, esp wrt goals and skills, ECC. So much work into that goal, makes them very precious. Hence why everyone loses it (no matter what side your rooting for) when one occurs. Your point on technical skills is the biggest rebuttal to the "well if Lebron and Adrian Peterson played soccer, we w...

I still think the best professional sport to watch is the NHL playoffs - end-to-end action and great drama. But that's just me. NY Post ran a story on Briscoe yesterday as so many local schools are after him. His father said they have a pretty good feel with all of the coaches (and Miller's relationship during the U18 was a plus) and now it's about selecting the school/location that he feels most comfortable with. How could ...

To me Bradley has been too hesitant - and he looked tired yesterday. We certainly need him to step up his game. My biggest problem about yesterday's Germany game is that we got pushed around way too much. Any time we got possession Germany simply knocked us off the ball. That concerns me as Belgium ...

I agree, but that's an insider's/true fan perspective. I'm more thinking about recruits, their parents, and rival coaches looking for anything to use against Miller on the recruiting trail. That's always going to happen. Negative recruiting is just the way of the world. We can let people like Aaron...

No one player is bigger than "A Players Program" and Miller should never compromise that posit...

that seems like a dumb and corrupt way to run a sporting event to let one guy just decide when to end it.... The Kings have led exactly 0:00 during this series but lead 2-0.
You can say they are lucky, but this team is just a bunch of grinders.
And screw the Rangers whining about that non-interference call. Man up and hold a lead.
