I played Sewailo in the late fall. The greens were really quick, but wet. If they were drier the would have been rolling 12-13 easy.

The Cats were the only team under par.

The Cats tie with North Carolina to be co-champs of The Prestige. They did not have a playoff due to darkness.

Makes sense, that drive each day must have sucked. They never got any sort of on campus practice facility, did they?

No they didn't and it sounds like TCC is making some changes to accomodate them. Locker room? Seems strange to chose a private club. Playing Sewailo this weekend but I still haven't played TCC

It does seem strange to have a private club be there home course granting practice and unlimited playing privileges to the team.


Maybe the club gets some added memberships because of it? TCC is not a super long club so these kids will bomb it into submission probably.

Would be fun though to walk TCC with the team when they have a home event. Just can’t imagine all of the members being happy about this

The Arizona Intercollegiate is today and tomorrow. The gate no longer lets non-residents/members in so Im not sure if its open to the public

Took an extended lunch and got to watch a few groups. Course is immaculate and they did move tee boxes back. Its an equity membership club so the members must have voted to allow the Cats to move but didn't want to give up the weekend tee times haha

Wow that is great. They had not played well collectively this year. They finished in the lower half in the PAC tournament so this turn around is very nice. I think the NCAA is in Scottsdale

Under the title Fuck ASU Golf:

ASSU loses in the championship match to Texas at Grayhawk in Scottsdale. That’s a shame.

They interviewed the UT golfer who secured the win afterwards and he said the ASSU fans were brutal, razzing him and clapping when he hit bad shots.

Always classy.
