That's a nice opportunity for Brian. I'm sure it's mostly indoor practices and life on the road until well into March, but after that, I wouldn't think it would be too bad to play baseball about a mile from Lake Michigan. Maybe we can work out a 4-game series with the purple Wildcats from Evanston at Hi Corbett to get them some early season sunshine.

Not sure if it's the season-opening series, but Northwestern will be coming to Hi Corbett early in the 2024 season, according to Chip Hale. So far on the docket, it's Northwestern, the U San Diego Toreros, and the tournament in the north Dallas area with Dallas Baptist, Alabama, and Indiana.

And so, of course, when the schedule came out, it was actually Northeastern. Boston. The Huskies. Half a mile from Fenway. Not Northwestern.
