Voynich manuscript decoded

Since it was found it has confounded hundreds of historians and scientists and researchers with it's strange coded alien writing and weird pictures.

Apparently the book is just shorthand medical Latin from the late 1400s and copied illustrations from other medical treatises we know about. It's actually just a women's health guidebook written in shorthand that was commonly used in medical books in the 15th century.

Always good to question science being reported on random websites like arstecnica and mentalfloss...

Whatever happened to Science and Nature?
