I'm going to disagree a little. Look, Blanco isn't my choice for best Mexican in Tucson at all, but it's not particularly bad. It's just adequate and not particularly spicy. Well, I've had it a few times at the airport in Phoenix. I guess I was surprised to discover the food is pretty much the same at the La Encantada. The views on the terrace is great. Speaking of corn, another plug for El Chinito Gordo's esquites. No joke the best I've had and it isn't close.

A small piece of chocolate torte with vegan rice-based coconut ice cream and a reduction of mushroom garum

Went last night to have the nopalitos con chile rojo, adding carne con chile. Again, fantastic. Chinito Gordo is easily my favorite new Mexican place.
