Mind spinning with thoughts for said manuscript and my workweek, but eyes are strained and mind is cloudy. Want to keep working but can't, want to fall asleep but can't. No benedryl or alcohol in the house.

Was fading, got my second wind-must have been that energy drink. Did the dishes and started watching Red Tails and discussing WWII with my son after he got home from work.
We are the people our parents warned us about.
