Yes, that’s really what I ate.
What is this, Coronado dorm in 1997?
La Paz, ‘95

The only thing I could have had without making something from scratch was a half piece of pizza that one of my kids has been gnawing on. The ramen was the much better option.

One of the drawbacks of working from home and being to busy to leave “the office”.

Nice! Let me know how it goes. I’ve been in Carl’s Jr. 3 times intending to try their meatless burger and chickened out each time.
I thought it was good. Side by side I can tell the difference, but if I asked you to get me a Whopper and you brought me an Impossible Whopper in a Whopper wrapper I wouldn't know.

Rincon Market: turkey club sandwich with a side of coleslaw.

I'm facing the music and admitting to everyone that coleslaw is one of my favorite things created by the genius of humankind.

I only like certain coleslaw, and preferably something like:

Red cabbage
Carrot
Honeycrisp apple
Mayo
Dijon
Apple cider vinegar
Salt
Pepper

Let marinate an hour and feast.

Every year we go to a semi-fancy buffet for Mother’s Day brunch. My kids just realized we won’t be going this year and are heartbroken.

The omelet station and chocolate covered strawberries I can replicate. The enormous dessert table will be a little tougher.

Had Frankie’s with my son. He’s going to university back East. Putting him on a plane tomorrow. I figured Frankies would be a good send off meal since he won’t be able to get anything like that where he’s going.
