Just move there already.
I was informed by the waiter, "Monseuir, in a French restaurant it is just 'onion soup'. Ze fact that it is French is obvious."

I'm obviously far too gauche to move there.

Anyone know how to say, "Go fuck yourself with a baguette you pompous dick" in French?
Va te faire foutre avec une baguette vous bite pompeuse
Merci beaucoup.
What? Sorry, no habla.

Sake flight

And another sake flight

And a third sake flight

Should've just ordered three bottles. Damn...

You out-lunched me today. Had a burger. It was good. But it wasn't '5 Carne Asada Street Tacos' good.

I had Ramen at Union on Saturday. They just added it to the menu a couple months ago. $15 but it is phenomenal. I wish I would have taken a pic but it has bacon dashi broth, oyster mushroom, scallion, poached egg, bbq pork, black garlic oil, and house made noodles. Apparently they hired the guy who ran the Fat Noodle food truck.

Where do you even get brisket? I guess with so much tri-tip where I live there isn't room for brisket.

I was fortunate enough to meet this guy at a friends wedding and we talked BBQ for over an hour. He built this trailer and makes them once a month. Starts at 2am and they are ready at 6pm. I wound up serving 20+ people with that brisket

But Brother Johns BBQ(Wildcat House) is opening soon and they have a phenomenal smoker setup.

Red's(Ramiro Scavo - Pasco's) on University is opening soon as well.

Some good BBQ coming to Tucson!

God damn it! It's like I forgot how to eat. Let's back up about half an hour here. I had a craving for a chili dog. The only place near by with that particular product is Sonic. I pick up a Coney and bring it back to work. Now some credit is due to Sonic as they probably made the messiest chili dog I've ever seen, but some of the blame has to come to me. I think I spilled some on every bite. It's like those videos of 1 year olds and their first birthday cake. They just grab a fist full and slam their faces right in there. I'm all finished and I need a shower. Jesus Christ.

For dinner, should I go for barbecue takeout or Mexican takeout?

i recall you mentioning there's a reasonable mexican place where you live...depends on what you are thinking of getting from each option?

Well, maybe a half slab of pork ribs, pit beans, and cornbread or french fries.

Or carne asada.

Your call.

I NEVER order chicken at a restaurant but I'm having steak for dinner tonight, shrimp for dinner tomorrow, and probably fish on Friday.
