Call a place in Nogie and ask.

It’ll be a fraction of a Tucson price.

Fucking hell
The last time I got one was in Los Algodones just south of Yuma.
Got the root canal on Friday morning followed by the post work up and mold then got the crown on Saturday.
I paid about $440 for the whole thing of which my insurance company reimbursed me for half.

Dude at my former employer got hired for top job at $215,000 a year. (The job was posted from $160,000-$185,000). No college degree. Worse, he put on his resume that he did have a college degree. When it was found out, the Board of Directors by one vote says it doesn't matter because the authority wasn't there to check whether he had a degree or not. Absolute corruption.

Stay well Ari!

My wife and I, and my son now home who goes to college, have all been Covid free.

Famous last words.

But if I do get it, I have been vaxxed so many times I ran out of room on my Covid card and they put correcto-tape on it for the last dosage.

So hopefully symptoms will be minor if I do get it which is the whole purpose of the vaccine.

Three words: FISHERMAN'S FRIENDS ORIGINAL

Works wonders for me. Strong eucalyptus flavor clears up the ol' snot canals and sooths the throat.

Assuming you can find them at a location near you of course, YMMV.

I had a room mate did that. He picked it up from a 1920era Yoga book. Passed the string thru one nostril and out the mouth, then repeat with the other nostril.

Its called "neti"

My ENT guy is having me do it with saline solution. Much more managable. Kits are available at pharmacies. Brand name in Oz is 'Flow'

Hence the netipot. Been thinking about getting one. How much is it worth to test one's gag reflex?

I need to clarify that the 'Flo' device (dunno is that the same as the netipot?) you squirt it into one nostril and it drains out the other nostril... nothing to gag about it doesn't go down the throat or into the mouth (or shouldn't anyway).

Edit: yeah, basically the same thing

A Netipot looks like a little teapot. You can buy little packets at the drugstore but I just use salt for the same effect. To try it, you can use a little cup of salt water. Bend at the waist, turn your head to the side, mix/dissolve your salt (~ 1/8th teaspoon) and warm water (~1 cup), and pour water into one nostril and let it drain out the other. The Netipot just gives better control. And, you can plug the draining nostril to let your sinuses fill for a bit before draining. Then blow your nose and the gunk should be dislodged and should come out. You can do it multiple times if necessary. In the end, you're just irrigating the sinuses but it can bring real relief during allergy season or if you've been working in the yard.

Yeah on the 2nd pregancy! Boo on the sick part.

And about the deviated septum... did you have a Septoplasty?

I had 1 several years ago.

The good news... I can breath completely through my nose again and I don't snore anymore.

The bad news... the surgery wasn't the painful part... getting the giant packing tampons removed from both of your nostrils.... is fucking horrible.

I have these giant splints in my nose but no.packing and lots of sutures. Apparently the ENT said he is convinced id broken my nose at least twice but that's news to me. He had to clean out a lot of scar tissue that had started turning to bone I guess. Said it was really bad up there.

My dumbfuck father-in-law just ruined our Christmas.

Last week he started to feel sick. Then he learned that his elderly mother who he had just visited tested positive for Covid.

Did he get tested? Hell no! It’s just a cold!

Did he verbally abuse anyone who suggested he get tested? Hell yes! It’s just a goddamn cold!!!

Did he insist on picking up my sister-in-law from the airport? Of course!!! ITS JUST A FUCKING COLD!!!!!

The asshole has Covid and passed it to his wife and probably to his daughter and her husband who are supposed to travel to Tucson to see his mother who is battling cancer.

Now my sister and my nieces can’t come to Christmas and I want to hit that man in the head with a ball peen hammer.

BUT ITS JUST A DAMN COLD!

All he had to do was take a fucking test. Now we are all waiting to see if we get it.

I hate that fucker…. Did I tell you all how he got disinvited from going with us to the Purdue game even though he’s a Purdue alum and we had planned to go ever since the game was announced?

Nickles worth of free advice. Go with a baseball bat and jab him with the end of it until he goes down. THEN start swinging.

It’s harder to block the jab than the swing. Also, one can avoid the assault with a deadly weapon charge that a ball peen would most likely bring.

It’s not shocking, and it’s been hell on my wife. Family is the most important thing to her, and this was to be our first holiday with my brand new baby niece Bri who was born on the 12th. She’s fairly devastated, but mostly just wants to murder her father.
