Anyways, I was on FB and saw your ex-crush Ace passed away, the man you all obsessed over for years, which reminded me of this community and led me to wonder if it was still active. It took me a few minutes of Googling to find it, but here you are. The same old characters and the same "passion" for the Wildcats. Good for you. I read through about 20 posts today and it felt like I had never left.

I actually still have the single of that. Or should say have it again after my brother gave me a box of old records from childhood. A totally unlistenable 45, scratched to hell...

That box was like a time capsule. I literally framed my Decca Records 45 of "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray. The same exact one I listened to as a kid. Found it in that box. I loved/love that song . My brothers are much older than me, so my records were a bit more...um...seasoned than some.
