Katz being gone is my fault. He started really going at a poster and I said we don’t do that level of personal attacks here, we leave that to Ace and PGU and within a day he was vanished.

I apologized about the tone. Never heard back. Long short of it, I wish I had g done it out in the open like I did. But I’m sure if that was enough for him to quit, then something else would have happened in the years since.

He was very prickly and also incredibly defensive of particularly bad parts of German history and liked to expound upon how the British and Americans were the true bad guys in ww2 etc...

Got it. I understand that. But the thing about Bullies is they rarely are content with one victim, even if the victim is an easy target, even deserves some scorn.

He was posting personal info and images without permission. I have a serious problem with that and will respond the same way no matter the bully no matter the victim.

Still wasn’t my intent to cause him to leave.

Might as well say hey for my 2nd post in the last few years or so. Update, uh still in Boston, still professing at the same joint, the boys are 12 (still has the trach, wheelchair, non verbal and his other issues but is really healthy) and the new wrinkle is the 3 yr old is autistic. In the process of working through diagnostics to challenge that finding I ended up instead convinced that I am also and probably Mrs JW is also on the spectrum (we're both engineers

. So yeah, that and we're surviving a pandemic in the lone town N of Boston that voted for trump in 2016 and 2020. Wife and I both employed, got covid vaccine in Feb and other than not seeing any family since Christmas 2019 we're all ok. Hope all is well here despite the coaching crisis. You could be a Patriots fan!

When I say that's how I'll forever remember him, The Book of Eli is the one thing I remember about him.

It isn't just that Book of Eli isn't romantic, it's just a very random, uninspired choice too. On an embarassing personal note, the first time I watched it, I didn't figure out Denzel's character was blind.

I heard from Mtzwami the other day via Facebook. Still hanging in there, getting stronger and now playing some rec basketball.

The point he wanted to make is never give up hope, there is always a chance you can survive and he has.

Eebs started a new job if memory serves although it still isn't an excuse. We shared a lot of the same memories at UA in the early 80's in regards to clubs and such.

Finally saw posts from Chicat on twitter and Facebook after a very long absence. If he took a hiatus from the 'net maybe he will work his way back here.
