What are you drinking tonight?

Tito's Vodka and Orange Caffeinated Club

Not exactly your typical football watching beverage but these late starts are rough.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

One of my faves from High West. I was in Park City last month and did a sampling. Really liked the Son of Bourye as well

I think it's called an "Estrogen Cooler".

Add cranberry juice and it becomes a "Summer's Eve".

Order it like the rest of your sorority sisters and call it an "E-Cooler".

When did it change from Someplace Else to The Meet Rack?

Was it at the same location? And if not, did they move the Duty Hut?

I have a bottle of that stuff as a party favorite. I thought I'd use it as mouthwash. Should I drink it?

One shot fireball---great name! Got to try that.

There's a bottle of that in our cupboard, too, LH; but I never thought of the mouthwash idea. Dianne has been using it with her swifter(wifter, smifter, whatever it's called) and pushing it across the tile floors. Puts a nice shine on.

Last night I had one of these:

Image

A.P.Birks Wendouree 2004

and one of these

Image
Jasper Hill Emily's Paddock Shiraz / Cabernet Franc 2006

Both were magnificent on the night, but I disagree with the reviewers assessment that the Jasper Hill will last to 2025. My experience is that Emily's paddock is best after 10 years and this one it was really really good at 8 years. Jasper Hill Georgia's Paddock on the other hand will go for 15 years plus easily.

The Wendouree was spot on, and could stay that way for years. I think I have another squirreled away that I might put a tag on for 2020.

It didn't ... Someplace Else closed, more than a decade passed, and he was able to get someone to acquire a liquor license, since he can't get his own anymore. Voila, Meet Rack. New location, on Drachman, N side of street, between Oracle AND Stone, but walking distance from the old location on 6th. Duty Hut was not moved - not sure where all of that "went"- but a similar experience was recreated in a side office, featuring a gyno chair instead of that mechanical bull ...
But in my book, you gotta get to White Castle before the weirdos show up!
Tonight he gets Happy-Go-Jackie on the big white guy like a donkey eating a waffle!

Del Bac whiskey during the hours of 10:00 pm and 4:00 am. Been through 3/4 of the bottle over the past five nights. Nothing else works to suppress my hacking cough.

Does your doctor prescribe codeine when you get a hacking cough from a cold and can't sleep at night?

I just called my doctor's office with my request. Fingers crossed. My previous doctors wouldn't allow it because it's "habit-forming." I literally have no history of abusing meds, and no interest. I just need some codeine to turn off this fucking cough. The lack of sleep and all this drinking isn't good.
