Just when you thought Curry's injury would pose a serious issue for the Warriors...now they may be able to sit him until the WCF without real jeopardy. I don't think the Clips even advance to face GS.

NBA lists five incorrect non-calls in final seconds of OKC-Spurs thriller

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/15454 ... urs-game-2

The NBA listed five incorrect non-calls from the final 13.5 seconds of Monday's game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs.

Spurs guard Manu Ginobili should have been whistled for delay of game for stepping on the sideline as he was attempting to defend the game's final inbounds play, and Thunder guard Dion Waiters should have been called for an offensive foul for crossing the out-of-bounds plane and hitting Ginobili with his elbow as he inbounded the ball, the league said Tuesday in its last-two-minutes report.

After the ball was inbounded by Waiters, fouls should have been called on the Spurs' Patty Mills and Kawhi Leonard. The league said that Mills grabbed and held Thunder center Steven Adams, and that Leonard grabbed Russell Westbrook's jersey.

Finally, after the Spurs stole the inbounds pass and made a final effort to hit a winning shot, a shooting foul should have been called on Thunder forward Serge Ibaka for grabbing and holding the jersey of LaMarcus Aldridge with 2.6 seconds left.

I thought it was interesting that I found the Spurs losing hard to take. I guess I'm just a Pops, Duncan, Parker, and (gulp) Ginobli fan, and I respect everything they've done.

This game was rigged. Thunder got all the calls in the 2nd half. FT's 30-17 Thunder. Should be a good series if the refs call it even.

Both teams played crappy. Not sure anything but a W can be taken away from this game.

Eh, Westbrook and KD will always draw a lot of calls. The Warriors shot a lot of threes and missed a lot.

It should be a good series. If anyone can match Curry, the way Westbrook went nuts can do it.

What's interesting is when Steph and Klay take a bunch of their off balanced, closely guarded, or deep threes and they don't go in over and over again it looks really really bad. About as bad as they look good when they do go in.

I wonder if they go Simmons with how many big guys they have.

Ingram makes a lot of sense in Philly. With Colangelo in charge im sure he'll be moving some pieces.

That said, this is a good turn of event for Luke Walton. He can mold Simmons into a bigger, more athletic, albeit less competitive version of Draymond. I dont think they should trade the pick, but im guessing Buss explores that option. Ingram makes a lot of sense with what they have in place as well.

Somewhere, Sam Hinkie in weeping about getting axed and then the franchise winning the #1 pick. However, you knew this was coming.

Physically, Brown is a smaller LeBron or a more explosive Stanley Johnson. He's legit.

Ingram is definitely a better fit for the Sixers lineup. Hinkie would pick Simmons, but now, they probably go with Ingram. Simmons in LA...well, I think the bell will have tolled for Julius Randle.

I sorta just want them to strip bare and draft Dunn. I think he and Booker would be a high IQ backcourt to build upon. Good skill, good shooting. No on Brown.

Then go highest upside PF with 13.

I just don't see Knight and Bledsoe long term. Not anymore. Injuries are too big a concern with Bledsoe and Knight both, with the latter just not being a good fit.

Not sure this happens, but I'd be good wit that.

Them two plus either a developed Goodwin (rolls eyes) or Bogdonovic off the bench seems pretty solid going forward.

So fucking weird that a team with Dragic, Bledsoe, Thomas, Knight, Ennis, Ish, Goodwin is somehow in desperate need of a PG for the future.

But they need a PG who complements Booker. I believe Dunn fits well with upside to be a plus shooter. Maybe a less selfish, higher IQ version of Knight.

Suns should definitely take Dunn. He'll be one of the best players to come out of this draft. When there is a consensus top 2 there's always a couple other guys just behind the top 2 that are on par with or exceed one or both of those top 2 guys. Dunn could be that guy.

There's no doubting his athleticism, but his basketball IQ, attitude, and effort to make the entire team better have been subpar from what I've seen.

Lots of talk of him sliding to the 4 in some lineups, but at 6' 6.5" in shoes he's going to give up 3-5" to anyone he's defending in that scenario.

If I'm drafting at #4 I'm taking a proven offensive commodity. Give me Buddy Hield or Kris Dunn.

Hield's size and lack of pg skills will drag him down. I like Dunn, but he's the only guy who I think you can really argue over Brown. Labissiere, Murray and Poetryl (sic) are low lottery guys. With Brown, you get a guy who should be a dominant scorer if he rounds his game out with a consistent J.

The Suns executives obviously know more than their fans, so it isn't surprising that they always do differently than their fans hope. And yet their moves never work out anyway. Watch them draft Dunn and immediately trade him straight up for Trevor Booker.

Not a big fan of Brown. I think he has a lot to develop in his overall game and he needs a jumper to be able to play the 4 or the 3. Hes a really good athlete, but the rest of his game just isnt there yet. Someone compared him to a less refined Harrison Barnes. If he can develop a jumper thats a pretty good look for him.

I've gone over it numerous times, but im not a fan of Hield. I think he will be a solid player and a good shooter, but for those that see stardom or anything near that, I dont. Doesnt create enough, not sure how much more he can, doesnt get to the line, isnt a great defender and while I think he will be a good shooter, dude isnt shooting near 50% from three in the NBA.

I sort of feel bad for Philly. Simmons creates a massive clusterfudge of a 4/5 rotation because of Hinkie drafting big guys three years straight. Simmons is clearly the more special talent when compared to Ingram, but I don't know how he fits with the Sixers.

There are a lot of wings with Ingram's skill set. Having a playmaker at PF with Simmons's handles, speed and passing ability basically is unprecedented. It's like if Boris Diaw was a 6'10 explosive athlete.

These refs are horrible. So obvious that they want OKC to win. They call a moving screen on one end but not the other when it was even more obvious than on the GSW end. This series is over and I wanted to see it settled on the court.

I dont think Kerr has made a single adjustment in this series yet. It was obvious that the plan was to attack Kanter so Donovan just stopped playing him.

UCLA really had no shot at beating Florida in those two runs.

Curry is a hell of an offensive player, but he really can't do anything defensively vs Westbrook.

Just don't breathe on Westbrook or KD. No one on GSW gets half the calls those 2 get every night.

Also, why does Adams never get called for moving screens? Arms extend while moving and never gets called for it.

Warriors just need to protect the ball and there's no reason why they can't take the next two games, outside of some MVP-type heroics from Durant and/or Westbrook individually.
