Extra points will be snapped from the 15 (instead of the 2), making them a 32- or 33-yard kick.
Two-point conversion attempts will still be snapped from the 2-yard-line.
Both plays will be “live,” meaning defenses can return blocks/interceptions/recovered fumbles for two points of their own.

Former Arizona Wildcats place-kicker Nick Folk has more to do with the new NFL extra-point rule as any other kicker in the history of football.

Folk, an eight-year NFL player since his Arizona Wildcats career ended in 2006, holds the NFL record for extra-point attempts made without missing once (292 of 292). The next highest is Ryan Succop with a career mark of 187 of 187.
