With Baker Mayfield and Jimmy Garapolo still out there, there was no way they would be able to find a team willing to take on that contract.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

There goes the one and only UA QB to take a snap in the NFL since the PAC-10 era started in 1978, and will probably remain the only one once the PAC collapses.
The only surprise was how long he lasted in the league. I watched the low lights of that game he played the past season, and he no longer could scramble or throw it deep.
At least he made bank, so can now start his church he wanted to do since day 1.
