When will the NFL experts finally admit that Foles is a good QB with top tier potential?

All the analysis for last nights game was Foles played better than expected and the Vikings D sucked.

Except Foles showed everyone what we know about that guy.

Just read a few twitter comments and many are saying the eagles invested too much in wentz for Foles to start next year even if they win.

That he’s not better than a back up qb

Want Foles to get a ring over Brady, but I still despise eagles fans.

A backup is exactly what Foles is. Capable of winning a few games while filling in, but will never be consistent enough to be an every-game starter. Eagles have had to lean heavily on good defense to make it this far after the Wentz injury, because Foles has looked pretty bad for the most part since filling in. He was dreadful against the Raiders and Cowboys to finish the regular season, and also in the first half against the Falcons last week. The type of game he had last night was pretty much the norm for Wentz this season. Much love for Foles and all, but Wentz is a stud and the unquestioned leader of that team, and Foles just isn't on his level. There's also concerns now over Foles' mental toughness and commitment to the game. A lot of people still don't know it yet, but Foles was ready to quit football and retire after his time with the Rams until Andy Reid talked him out of it. Said his passion for the game was gone, and didn't even pick up a football for 8 months. If Nick does manage to play good enough to win a Super Bowl, the Eagles would do well to get a 4th round pick for him.
