All the calls have been in their favor, including the very obvious touchdown called fumble overturned to touchdown.

But none of that has anything to do with shit special teams play and non-tackling defense up front.

I openly criticized the Cardinals facebook page for putting out memes badmouthing and belittling players by name yesterday, specifically Lindley, Butler, Ginn, all of whom are reserves, the former of whom shouldn't even be in the NFL. You can't cheer Next Man Up and then jeer their efforts. So long as they played hard, I can't demand excellence from practice squaders thrust into roles of significance. The outcome sucked. It was frustrating to see from professionals, but they are barely professionals, and are only such because of an act of God plague of injuries that struck this team.

I'm proud of what this team battled through. It was never likely to end ideally, so while I'm disappointed in the end results, I'm thrilled with the cumulative effort given amidst circumstances epically stacked against them.

I am more proud of how the Cardinals ended their season that how the FB CATS ended theirs.

At least the cardinals went down swinging with the best they had. That is a loss I can take comfort in.
