This man has verbally abused women... has been accused of physical and sexual abuse... has forged a vaccine card for a Pandemic.... are you really curious as to why he would walk off the football field in the middle of a game?

I get that he’s a total head case. Not shocked that he did it but wondering what prompted it. Was it a coach? A player? A fan?

Or did he just lose it and start stripping?

So the story that is coming out of the AB camp is that he told the coaches he tweaked his ankle and they told him to get back out onto the field and when he refused they cut him immediately.

So did he run off the field practically skipping and jumping to show them just how bad his ankle was?

Also, has anyone ever been cut from a team mid-game without physically assaulting someone (or even then)?

Not a surprise, but when they didn’t get Rodgers it was evident to everyone they would have a mediocre season with Bridgewater or Locke as the QB.

Fangio’s front office failed him way more than he failed them.

And any shred of hope they would consider keeping him got dashed when they Coug’d it against the Chiefs yesterday.

There were enough blind items and anonymous comments before the Chiefs game that I think Fangio was getting fired no matter what, but yeah, kicking a field goal down 7 at like the 3 yard line late in the 4th quarter was probably the final nail in his coffin.

Colts are out. The Steelers are in as long as the Raiders and Chargers don't end in a tie.

I would love if the Raiders and Chargers conspired to tie.
Could you imagine kneel downs and punts in OT?

The shield would implode.

Watching the Raiders kick the game winning field goal Vs the Chargers last night, I knew right away that the Chargers earlier timeout to prevent a playoff clinching tie was the worst clock management I’ve witnessed in over 25 years of watching football.

Giants fans hated their GM Dave Gettleman (and for good reason, they’ve been terrible for five years and he engineered Eli Manning’s messy departure) so they’ll be happy to know that he’s decided to retire from making their lives miserable.

When we lived in Chandler, our neighbor was the 3rd string QB for the Cardinals. We got to hang out after Dave McGinnis' last game (win over Vikings knocking them out of the playoffs on the last play) with all the coaches who knew they were getting fired the next day. They were all in good spirits - they know it comes with working in that profession.

I still can’t believe that Brian Flores won 7 games in a row, completely turning around the Dolphins season, and he still got fired.

Whatever the reason, it certainly doesn’t help the perception that coaches of color not named Mike Tomlin have incredibly short leashes in the NFL.

David Culley gets fired by the Texans after one season and now there is exactly one Black head coach in the NFL . . . the aforementioned Mike Tomlin.
