When you’re asked to think of a state associated with horse racing, most people are going to say Kentucky.
They should say Arizona.
Two of the sport’s most prolific trainers, Bob Baffert and Todd Pletcher, both went to The University of Arizona, and are responsible for six of the 20 horses entered in the 2018 Kentucky Derby.
So naturally it’s time for Arizona Wildcats fans to get back on the #AHorsesProgram train for the next month or so.

Talk about a GOAT, Secretariat was the greatest. Only losses really due to jockey error or that infection he had. Broke all three track records and they still stand today, almost 50 years after he set them. That to me is incredible. What a horse

So disappointing but I think most people don't understand how prevelant performance enhancing drugs are in sports. I always got a kick out of people giving Lance Armstrong so much shit for taking steroids. Everyone is looking for every advantage they can get to win. We had a family friend whose son won the state championship in wrestling. He took steroids for a bit. It is everywhere and there are new supplements every year. Now the big thing in cycling is ketones. They are legal for now
