Yep, his tee time is 10:34am EST with Oosthuizen and Niemann.

That means he will get a late tee time on Friday which will give him more time to get his battered body ready.

Simply amazing...

Just playing all 36 holes will be a huge accomplishment.

I heard an interview where he said at this point the walking is actually the toughest part, not hitting the golf ball.

You could see the rustiness as he had an easy approach on his third shot on the par 5 eighth hole and left it short. Then he hit a horrible chip and bogies it. 4 to get down from 30 yards.

He is playing very controlled though. Swing looks pretty solid but let’s see if he stays patient. His playing partner, Nieman, is leading at 3 under right now. I would think someone shoots 66-67 today and it appears Tiger is just trying to not shoot himself out of it on the first day

Cam Smith is -6 through 16 and in the lead.

Couple of bad chips cost Tiger 2 strokes. Plus a cruel lip out. He's even through 15 at the moment.

Bryson is hilarious to watch. He's so confused by every shot that doesn't go his way

Can't believe the weather is cooperating. 2" of rain in the last 24 hours plus this tornado hit about 100 miles from Augusta on Tuesday. Wait till the end:

Looks like Tiger is going to make the cut. Bet his right leg is killing him.

Can't remember a golfer in quite a while blowing up like Scheffler. Back at Ryder Cup time he'd never won a tournament, now he's #1.

Scheffler's swing bugs me, its like he bails out to clear his hips. JT had a solid round but I could see Hideki going back to back.

Just think that he wasn't born yet the last time Tiger missed the cut at the masters.

DeChambeau and his scientific approach to golf is a bad match with that place.

Scheffler is on cruise control.

Today will be interesting to see if the wind is as bad as they say it will be.

I've always wanted to attend a Masters Tournament, but after attending the Accenture/Gallery it seems like the worst way to watch a game of golf.

You can’t just “want to attend”. You either need to know someone or get selected in the lottery which starts tomorrow. Only been able to get practice round tickets.

Hands down the toughest ticket to get. But if you love golf it’s one of the 2 meccas. The other one is St. Andrews.

Yeah, I figured ticket acquisition would be labyrinthine and expensive. As to love, I used to play. We got a divorce but I still think of her. Intermittent reward is addictive, and it teaches you that happiness is more important. It was probably just lust anyway.

LOL same. I haven't played in 3 or 4 years. Had back surgery about a year ago so a little afraid to mess something up. If I go back, I want to change my swing so that I have an easier swing that I can play with for years. (Fred Couples is my role model)

Unfortunately, our current home overlooks a golf course. It's kind of like a guy on a diet having a donut shop right out his window.

Our Liberty Lake house was on a MeadowWood fairway, so I can relate. If I were to return to playing I would have to fix my brain in order to get it to let me enjoy the game. I'm a fit athletic guy who's naturally good at sports, but golf. just. doesn't. give. a. fuck.

One thing I did get good at was predicting the danger zones for golf course housing. Back then, before soft cleats, some asshole walking on your redwood deck to retrieve his ball, taught some hard lessons.

Funny story. I actually learned to play where Hillenbrand stadium now stands today. I lived across the street and one year I stayed in Tucson for summer school (summers in Tucson is quite an experience). My roommate had a pair of clubs and we would go across the street to, at that time, an old playground style softball field and hit nine irons from one end to the other.

First time hitting a golf ball and unfortunately have been “trying” to play ever since.😁
