Didn't watch the game, but could have been a makeup call for a missed call on the other end.
I can't find the picture right now...but I think during the pac12 tournament last year...or maybe a different game....there was a time when TJ was saving a ball that was out of bounds, and he got called out of bounds....and the picture shows his feet are way in bounds while his body is above the line. that might have been one of the worst calls I've ever seen. and it was far worse than that over the back call.
It's long past time to bring this back to the court, let's do it with a small update:

Santa Clara is Kenpom #195. Their below-500 record boasts several losses against schools you've never heard of.

Had Minnesota-Iowa game on the B1G Network last night (yea, I know nobody cares) and it was a terribly dull game. Iowa, for one, let themselves get derailed from an gaining inside track at a good late season run, losing at home to a mediocre Gophers team. But all in all, I've been pretty bored with college ball this season Not a lot of good games on; it starting to be like the one sport that's done the least to improve itself since the 90s. Unlike CFB, MLB, and the NFL.

The Big 10 or Big 16, or whatever the fuck they call themselves, sucks. Flat out sucks. Wisconsin is legit, but no other team is. Maryland...please, come on. Maryland in the Big 10 feels weird anyway.

But it sucks. Like at least PAC 12 sucky.

Is this a gut feeling? Because RPI (B1G 4th, PAC 5th), KenPom (B1G 4th, PAC 6th), and Sagarin (B1G 3rd, PAC 6th) would say otherwise.

Got the best of the Mountain West on - SDSU vs Colorado State. Announcers with a lot of praise for Daniel Bejarano, whom I'd for the most part forgot about. Sometimes our transfers disappear for good, but good for Daniel he's arguably the Rams most effective player, using his big shoulders to get aggressive in the paint in the way I wish Caleb Tarc would.

This Seth Greenberg behind the bench thing is so absurd. If he was blocking my view, I'd be pissed. Meanwhile in Michigan, Dakich walks the floor to explain the Spartans' transition offense.

How about an in-game interview with the coach like they do in baseball? I'm sure they don't have anything better to do than answer inane *questions* like "Hey coach, talk about what TJ McConnell means to your team".

It's coming. Remember ESPN's "interviews" mid-game of Candrea and Larry Ray during the last CWS Arizona was at?

College conferences have bent 90 degrees over for that sweet, sweet network moolah, and now they probably don't have the power (much less the will) to tell certainly their conference networks to back off.

Football will be the flash point. Even coaches get p*ssed at cameras on the sidelines during games. Now imagine a microphone thrust in Mike Stoops' face in the fourth quarter. That's going to turn out well.

They've over done the interviewing the coach thing. It is interesting at times but I usually find it more annoying than informative.

Louisville and Syracuse both suck. Louisville doesn't play any defense, and for Syracuse, if any of our guys had given up some of these open threes that the Orange are giving up, they'd have Sean Miller chewing them a new one.

This is not meant to be a smartass given we wanted Winslow very badly. Does this guy score the ball? He's a two guard I believe but never shoots the ball. Cant see this dook team going very far.

...btw, Winslow had Arizona written all over him. He just looked like a guy who'd fit in to what our program is.
Too bad for him. F dook.

Blatant hold by Winslow to set up the last score by Duke. Like beyond obvious.

Watching that whole game, in the back of my head I remembered asshat's comments in the Sean Miller's ceiling thread and him throwing out Roy Williams, seemingly saying he was a better coach. North Carolina has had some underachieving teams the last few years, by North Carolina standards at least. They are absolutely brutal on defense. Their offense looked a lot better because Duke's defense is ass too, but it looked like a free-for-all out there. They have the dogs and were great on the glass, but that offense is doing nothing against an elite defensive team. Besides tournament games, I only catch one or two games of theirs a year and every game as of late they always look like an unpolished and really poor coached team. Nothing like CSM has established here.

Watching Williams try to get his team amped for that last possession in regulation after spending the entire last 8 minutes almost literally ducking and hiding was hilarity.

If you asked me who I'd want in a foxhole with me when the shit was hitting the fan, I'd take Sean Miller over Roy Williams 10 times out of 10.

That truth emerged in the second half. These teams can speed Virginia up a bit and make a game of it, but Kentucky and Villanova would make them look bad.

Was going to add that that beating Indiana was a huge road win for Purdue last night. Good game too. Indiana's guard Yogi Ferrell reminds me of Momo.

Reminded me of PJC. Hope both will be ok.
