And Houston just squeaked by.

With Arizona not involved this year it’s sort of fun (or less stressful) to watch these games and root for the underdogs.

They've never even been worthy of derision. They're easy to like right now.

Ralph Miller had some really good teams early 80's. Also had a pretty good player named Gary Payton.

Interesting to see if Oregon appears to be fresh or overly anxious by not having a 1st round game

I love Oregon's chances against Iowa today. Lots of experience on that Oregon team, and Altman is good at making adjustments. Ducks in OT.

I'll say this too. Watching the Pac be great in this tourney so far, it makes me feel better about Arizona's season.

I'd been sort of bummed we were barely over .500 in the Pac, but that's not looking that bad right now.

It's comical that Oregon wasn't even ranked -- actually 31st according to the polls. I mean, do the pollsters even watch teams? Of course they don't. Know why? Because nobody west of the Rocky Mountains watches Pac 12 basketball, ever. Oh sure, maybe Seth Davis. But other pollsters don't watch at all. They pick up other narratives and that is what shapes their votes. And the main reason nobody watches Pac 12 basketball is because of the ridiculous Pac 12 network that nobody across the country can get.

I really think the way these conferences are ranked needs to be completely overhauled.

The Big 10 has a lot of above average teams but they clearly don't have 4 teams in the top 10 in the country.

As the season began, Oregon was ranked high by a lot of writers and outlets. They had some injuries and an early loss to Mizzou, and people started cooling on them. But as they got healthy and started clicking, they've become the team they were expected to be. Gonna take a really solid defense to beat this Duck team.

The Big 10 is really good.

If Oregon wins, they will have two teams left in the tourney; along with the PAC 12 having two in the Sweet 16 already with three more games today.

Let me guess, we are Underdogs in all three games?

Should be a good matchup and a tough game. Beating Kansas is almost second to beating ASU... Gotto leave room in there for Duke (whom I will take time and say - "Did not make the Tourney")

Go Pac-12!

SC is a tough matchup for KU. Strength on strength because both teams are D first, but most teams have trouble dealing with SC's length.

Guys the PAC is not only winning against much higher ranked teams they are DESTROYING them. Go PAC. Keep five alive. 5 teams need to go to the sweet 16. USC chances against Kansas depends on how they are shooting from the outside. If they are hitting could be a long night for the Jayhawks and their 5 level 1 violations and nine aggregators. Thought I would mention it because no one else in media will.

Strange. I couldn't give a f*** about Kansas or ASU. Beating UCLA or Duke matters more to me. Even Gonzaga. If you guys knew the kinds of stuff UCLA fans say about Sean Miller, you might reconsider.

Yeah, I’m a big condom fan tonight.

Go Pac! Wouldn’t it be great if almost 1/3 of the Sweet 16 was comprised of Pac 12 teams?

Love to hear the supposed pundits explain that after basically ignoring the league all year.

It didn't help that ASU was a favorite of the national media and shit the bed this year -- thus causing the national media to write off the entire conference. Turns out, ASU was the turd in the punch bowl while the rest of the conference, save Cal & UW, were pretty good.

Pre-season polls are such bullshit because if you don't differentiate yourself early in the year and make a lot of noise -- you're pretty much slotted in place for the rest of conference season. Oregon lost their opener to Missouri when COVID was in full force. So the media wrote them off. ACC, BIG 10 & Big 12 teams get high pre-season attention and once the conference season begins -- they don't move up or down much in the polls because they're playing each other.

More voters on the East Coast = fewer voters watching & voting for Pac 12 teams = East Coast bias

As long as UCLA doesn't get sped up in the second half and hits at least one fn free throw they should win this game easily. The other team is outmatched at every position except maybe pg. Looks good for the PAC again.

Anyone know anything about Bama? That's UCLA's likely S16 matchup.

Colorado has a very good chance to beat FSU. The Seminoles were solid this year, but the Buffs have shown the ability to match up well with different styles.

Still think Kansas beats the Trojans. Self is a much better coach than Enfield.

Except at PG? Isn't UCLA's PG First time All PAC-12 and ACU's PG 5'7?
