So ASSU and Colorado play in China on November 8. That has to be a non conference game right? With the issues the NBA had with China you have to wonder what will happen with this game

Yes it is a non conference game

Yes this needs to be cancelled. Funny how so many asu fans here in Phoenix attacked LeBron and the NBA (rightfully so) but won't comment on asu

Larry Scott loves him some Chinese Yuan so I'm betting this game stays as scheduled.

Kenpom has them at 89 to start the season.
Wonder if they make the tournament?
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.

CBI?? No way in hell ASU makes the NCAA tourney. They undeservedly got in last season and are much worse off this year. And the Pac is much stronger. Their ceiling is 8-10 in the Pac. Maybe.

So does this game count as out of conference? I'm not sure how this works.

That’s bullshit. If you play a team in your conference, that counts.

Then asu and CU would have either more conference games than the rest of the conference or have extra rest in conference play. Both of which are unfair. I actually wish the PAC12 did more of this

I watched parts of the game, it was basically the same old routine, Hurley just "let 'em play"...so the Remy Martin show...Hurley will ALWAYS create teams that are conflicted inside because he thinks he's Duke-Lite and he's not...

This guy needs to take trolling lessons from enfuego. How butthurt is he going to be when the NCAA comes out and says that the UA and Miller were victims of a rogue coach who got caught lining his own pockets?

I’d have to think about the last time I saw a pac team have only three scorers.

And to make it even more odd: one player scored 43 with the other two just scoring 8 and 5.

... and the player that scored the 43 was off the bench too.

I’ve never seen a box score like that for college ball in my life. Looks like something from my kids eight year old city league 15 years ago. ...and even then the coaches son didn’t come off the bench.

Bad shooting nights happen. Sometimes the shots just don't go down. But Remy Martin was downright terrible for ASU. 0-fer shooting performance. 1 rebound, 1 assist and 3 turnovers from your point guard in 27 minutes. Yikes.

No, that's backwards

Evans would rather lose a defensive struggle and commit 50 fouls than win a shootout.

Give him credit, I think he beat Lute once....maybe 1-15 vs. Arizona.
