Thats what I said! I also like mustard on my fries.

People look at me funny and then I ask if they like egg salad or mustard based potato salad. "OF COURSE WE DO!" Once the hampster in their head gets back on the wheel, they feel like fools.

That's what I do. Recently mustard and hot sauce weren't available, and I decided ketchup doesn't work without them.

I don't intentionally use mustard on fries, but I mix mustard and ketchup on a lot of sandwiches that come with fries and have no qualms about dipping in runoff from a sandwich.

I went to Truland Burgers and Greens, and they offer Sriracha mayo for fries, along with ketchup. If there's a relevant use for mayo, that's the one, being blended with something else that makes you forget that it's mayo.

I've been known to eat fries with no condiment. Eggs, too. Probably handed down from The Great Depression. Had toast with no butter the other day. Ugh!

Now, let's talk about margarine eaters. The worst! They're known to hang out with white bread eaters.

I don't think we had butter in my house until I was a teenager. Crisco for baking, margarine for other "butter" needs. My parents were raised without butter in the home and so was I. I always thought of butter as a luxury to be taken advantage of the few times we went to a restaurant with complimentary rolls/bread and butter.

Except for the spray margarine, I don't think my kids know what margarine even tastes or looks like. Just real butter all the time.

However, I have switched to coconut oil for the pan, the higher smoke point is great. No more burned butter in the pan.

I call that the "oops! move". Like when the maple syrup runs off your pancakes gets on your sausage links. Now I just pour the maple syrup directly onto the sausage while saying, "Oops... oops... oops...."

If not butter, peanut butter or cream cheese. I could not see going outside those three, peronally.

We never had butter. But my grandmother had butter, baked her own wheat bread and made peach and raspberry jams. Ate a lot of toast at her place.

Haven't had margarine (that I know of) in decades .

On the downside, my great aunt/uncle lived around the corner from my grandmother and had their own dairy cow. Cereal with "fresh-squeezed" milk was gross. Cream sticking to the Cheerios ...

Mustard on tater tots is clutch. Has anyone had "fry sauce" before? Ketchup and mayo mixed. It is huge in a few states and actually pretty good.

The parallels between assisting condiments and Lonzo Ball are perfect.

I had tots a couple times lately. I had ketchup and mustard on the plate and when I was done almost all the mustard was gone and none of the ketchup.

Since this thread is totally derailed I just want to add that dipping Wendy's (or McDonald's ) fries in a Wendy's frosty is where it's at.

It ranks somewhere on the ecstasy scale as pretty equal to bad sex.

I've previously purchased Jalapeno Ketchup and Habanero Ketchup. Both are an improvement over regular ketchup.

When you make it to Utah, fry sauce... Freddy's offers it nationwide (I like the jalapeño variety), as does Arctic Circle for a limited number of folks, but it seems every restaurant in Utah offers their own delicious take on it. In normal life, mustard, followed by a spiced-up ketchup (Whataburger does it right, indeed) seem to find their way onto my plate most times. Also, hot sauce and/or salsa are required for eggs, and I'm pro mayo.

Sounds too much like tuna cassarole to me. Now I've done the blue box with ground beef, baked beans and BBQ sauce - Cowboy style.

It's way worse than tuna casserole. Tuna casserole is almost good for the first bite, not awful for the second bite, and you just don't take a third bite.

My cafeteria at work does a decent burger sometimes (well as decent as you can get when it's made by a Swiss dude), always with fries. The ketchup dispenser is right there, but you have to go buy mustard by the pack for $0.60. F_cking barbarians. Ketchup with fries is okay, but on a burger? No way.

Well, there's certainly no Coke soda fountain! :lol: Actually the food's pretty good. A couple traditional cafeteria choices, plus salad bar, and a couple fresh made options. I tend to hit Little Italy where we have fresh pasta (pasta machine extruding the stuff while you're watching) or fresh pizza on Tues & Thurs. Brutally expensive though. $7-14 per day, plus another $3 if you have a coffee after.
