Let him go to Kansas. Kid got tossed from a game for yelling at the refs
That doesn't concern me in the slightest, especially since he wasn't even playing in said game. He dealt with reffing that Americans sure aren't used to with the U19 tourney and handled it just fine playing for a coach who he likely respects and doesn't put up with BS. I have very little confidence his AAU coach demands the same respect and is just happy to have Josh playing for his program.MrBug708 wrote:Let him go to Kansas. Did you see the reffing in that tourney? All it means is he doesn't have the patience of a saint.MrBug708 wrote:Let him go to Kansas. Kid got tossed from a game for yelling at the refs

I think I counted 4 travels in 5 minutes. Apparently your pivot foot has to stay flat on the floor over thereSpaceman Spiff wrote:Did you see the reffing in that tourney? All it means is he doesn't have the patience of a saint.
Elite 8 in 2011 and National Title Game in 2012. Unless you're talking about Arizona. But I can't remember the last time Arizona made it past the Sweet 16.Chicat wrote:The good news is that only making it to two Sweet Sixteens in the last half dozen years leaves plenty of room to hang recruiting banners at Phog.
I just wanted to quote this before you could edit it. Makes it hard to remember the two most recent tourneys when you're drunk all the time.UAEebs86 wrote:enflamo must be drinking again. He's a drinker.
With how disappointing KU was, it's actually legit that he had to self medicate pretty hard before the Elite Eight happened.Chicat wrote:Makes it hard to remember the two most recent tourneys when you're drunk all the time.UAEebs86 wrote:enflamo must be drinking again. He's a drinker.
With how badly Bill Self manages his personnel, I'd start drinking sometime around Late Night at the Phog in anticipation of the next blue chipper/program savior to implode around mid-season.Spaceman Spiff wrote:With how disappointing KU was, it's actually legit that he had to self medicate pretty hard before the Elite Eight happened.Chicat wrote:Makes it hard to remember the two most recent tourneys when you're drunk all the time.UAEebs86 wrote:enflamo must be drinking again. That was a sarcastic post, and the point was.... never mind.
They would be playing different positions in college. JJ is a SG whereas SJ is an undersized 4.3goggles wrote:JJ had been talking to SJ in regards to Zona. Let's see how good SJ can recruit!!!

There's also a growing sense that he's not going to play college ball.Puerco wrote:247 crystal ball has UA and KU tied at the moment. A big swing toward UA during July.
http://tucson.com/sports/blogs/pascoe/m ... 8e0b5.htmlLAS VEGAS – Not surprisingly for perhaps the top player in the class of 2016, Josh Jackson attracted a sizable media crowd after his first game in the Las Vegas Fab 48 on Wednesday.
Then his mother, Apples Jones, showed up.
“Nobody can talk to Josh until they talk to somebody else (on the team) first,” she said.
Jones, who created the 1 Nation club that Jackson plays for, was trying to gain some attention for her other players and take a load off her son. But since most of them are from Michigan and not UA recruiting targets, I told her I wasn’t going to pretend to be interested in another player just so I could talk to Josh.
“I respect that,” she said, later adding that interviews for her son were “nothing but a distraction.”
So, no dice. No detail on how Jackson felt playing for Sean Miller at the U19 World Championships or anything, after I had a conversation with Jackson at USA Basketball’s U19 training camp last month that led to this story:

Amongst who exactly? That was the rumor long ago, but since then he's all but confirmed he's going the college route.Beachcat97 wrote:There's also a growing sense that he's not going to play college ball.Puerco wrote:247 crystal ball has UA and KU tied at the moment.
