Wonder how his TV show will do with Chino Hills no longer an option. The Lakers and UCLA aren't giving him free access to everything. But I doubt Melo was going to have a normal life anyways. Lamborghini, 92 points, brother starts for the Lakers. The structure basketball aspect being gone might be a problem. Lavar should just go send Melo to play as a 16 year old in Europe, but I doubt he ever lets his kids that far out of his eyesChicat wrote:Todd Marinovich shakes his head sadly...MrBug708 wrote:Melo Ball will be home schooled his last 2 years and not play at Chino Hills

UCLA may have Balls, but you? Not so much.
Fucking awesome.Harvey Specter wrote:I cannot believe there has been no mention of why LaVar is pulling his son from Chino Hills. It's because of their new coach, a guy named Dennis Lattimore.

They didn't let Lavar hand pick his coach.Merkin wrote:'all those 50 shots a game, that's going to stop.'
I imagine Latimore wants to win, not pad a chucker's stats.
"because I can spend all my time now and dedication into it instead of going to school and doing book work,"
Still got to go to class in UCLA, with real committed and extremely intelligent students LeMelo. Way to have the NCAA flag your work.

Wayne Joseph, the superintendent of the Chino Valley Unified School District, said Tuesday that LaVar Ball had asked Chino Hills coach Dennis Latimore and principal Isabel Brenes to put four players on the varsity basketball team earlier this year. Both refused.

Wanna bet?Beachcat97 wrote:If Lonzo’s untalented younger brother never plays ball for UCLA again, the only two people who will be crying about it are Lavar and Bug.
Says so on the lower right hand corner of the tweet.84Cat wrote:You know that is fake, right?

America's epistemic crisis has been underway for decades but is only now reaching levels of popular domestic and international abuse.84Cat wrote:You know that is fake, right? I really don't like this trend that so many things can be faked now. We were talking at breakfast today about how Adobe has figured out a way to photoshop people's voices. It has a legitimate use but it will be abused.

Australia, Philippines, Argentina? Those all are a step down from Europe and China so maybe?TatetheGreat wrote:Gelo's not good enough to play in Europe and he's probably banned from entering China. His basketball career is over.
Actually they don't. Parents need to sign the NLI unless the player is 21 or over.Longhorned wrote:Does the kid have any say? If my dad pulled me from college, I'd point to my scholarship and tell him to F off.
I'm thinking maybe the Saudi Premier League. Kiwi Gardner is the biggest star.PHXCATS wrote:Australia, Philippines, Argentina? Actually, Kiwi is in Malaysia now. Gelo has a few options but realistically, he's done.TatetheGreat wrote:I'm thinking maybe the Saudi Premier League.
