2. Who did he choose them over? Did UA have a shot?

As to #1, Herb Sendek hired his high school coach as an assistant coach to get him to go to ASU.

#2 - here's his offer list from Rivals:

Your own link shows his deal didn't start until Oct 1. Whats the problem?

No, and I doubt you would have an issue with it if he hadn't played for ASU. Adidas paid him $200m to wear Adidas starting on Oct 1. I could care less what he was wearing on his feet early in September. What's the issue?

I hear the circus music starting. Of course he is not contractually bound until the first of October but he had signed the agreement so wearing Nike is just plain stupid after the announcement had been made of his endorsement.

That was his second dumb move though, first one was dating a Kardashian.
