Wouldn't be surprised to see us shut down until the games against the Arizona schools. Three to four weeks of no basketball

Three or four weeks. I thought quarantine should only only last about a week. Who is UCLA afraid to play?

Clearly Cal Poly, since that is the only game left before the Arizona schools.

Then why three to four weeks of no basketball? I was thinking you were saying wait until the second game against the cats.

If they play the Arizona game on the 30th, they will have one game since December 1st. That's some rust. I'd rather see them play before. But playing them with rust is better than not playing them at all, especially if they would be unable to make it up and it goes for a loss. This is the third UCLA game in the month of December that has been cancelled due to COVID.

Washington canceled on UCLA, UCLA cancelled Southern Alabama and UNC. Cal Poly on the 22nd is likely endangered of cancellation as well.

Will be disappointing for Cal Poly. These get paid to get beat down games really support the AD there along with all the other small schools.

They’ll blame it on Omicron.

If they cannot find a date to make it up, which is probably what will happen, UCLA will forfeit. Though I suspect if case continue to rise, and multiple games are cancelled, it'll probably be a wash of a regular season. Would rather play Arizona rusty, then not at all. But rusty won't be a reason to cancel the game, it will be COVID related.

Not confident in beating you guys. Hoping for the best though! Looks like the rules changed, due to the outbreaks, where a cancelled game doesnt count as a forfeit.

Only way I found out about the Dec 28 date was a UCLA player posting on social media, when practice started back up.

Not sure on USC, but I do know they went on pause after UCLA did.

As long as you don’t accidental poke a hole in them or lose one in the act, they work really well from what I remember.

It's not your fault Bug, and I'm not gonna add to your neg count, but you really fucking suck as the messenger. I insist, even for your own sake, you get a Mick Cronin voodoo doll and hammer it with pins until games resume. Do your moral duty for men's Pac-12 BBall. It's the least you can do.

Not sure how people still have UCLA ranked top ten. Feels like if you have to take a month off due to Covid that should affect your ranking.

I'm sure everyone wants to play, but it's ramping up big time here in LA. I just got my booster and that knocked me.on my ass for 48 hours.

Only two posters neg rep me, all because I called them out on their nonsense. One got the message and stopped responding. The other keeps coming back for more. It's all good though, it's given me a gold mind of memes to share.

Something to say for that. Many of these kids come from AAU programs where they play 4 or more games per weekend. I imagine many of the Euro U17 teams do too.

You can literally fly from Tucson to most major cities, play a basketball game, then fly back to Tucson the same day.

It's all good. But just out of expedience and pettiness I'm going to blame you for all of it.

I ended up in the hospital last December with COVID. Good health, no comorbidies, nothing. Wife caught it too, completely asymptomatic. Both shots on the initial vaccine, knocked me on my ass, wife was fine. Booster, same story. My body can't handle anything to do with COVID I guess. I'm 39, wife is 36.
