Spend chunks of your time flying to the Midwest to not be a starter?

I sorta doubt that’s how he sees his life but I don’t have any inside info.

Arizona ia listed @ 20/1 - tied for 14th with Gonzaga
Tommy would have to offer him first and I highly doubt that Tommy would see LeBron Jr as a fit at Arizona

if true, sdsu would be pretty hilarious since it's closer to the border than tucson is

Gonna assume these guys have been informed that a coaching change is happening because it's getting harder to believe anyone would willing play for Mick Cronin.

Quite frankly, I still can't forgive CTL for whiffing on last year's big Euro catch. Wembanyama would have given Oumar some real competition for starting center!!!

Cats need a 4, not another wing! Peavy shot 31% 3PT last season, career 27%, and 61% FT, career 59%. Not a shooter.

Aaron Bradshaw, 7'1 center. Transferring out of Kentucky.

Could be a nice get if Ballo leaves.

I would go after Batcho. Dude is legit and would thrive under Tommy. Heard CTL's staff tried to get him to stay after CSM was fired. He's also a versatile defender. Can guard wings as well. I think he has a graduate year like Ballo.

UCONN literally has the #1 offensive efficiency. Purdue #3. Bama was 4th and their defense wasn’t even in the top 100.

Bama shot 47.8% from 3 and lost
UCONN out rebounded Bama by 8 and got 4 more Oreb, got to the line 7 more times because they attack the basket. 11 more assists too

UConn was 10/25 from three; 'Bama was 11/23... that's a wash...

UConn had 20 assists; 'Bama had 9 - UConn was scoring out of it's offensive passing game; 'Bama's broke down (like Arizona in losses)

UConn's PG runs an offense; 'Bama's is a scorer & gunner.

We still have 3 Seven footers on the roster (Stephens/Veesaar/Krivas). CTL will never run out of bigs.

If we bring in Raynaud CTL would have to "Romar" another big.

Certainly evident that you can be more patient in the WCC and the PAC with these guys. That had to be some tough conversations with guys you know he really liked.

I sure wish them good luck and much success

I definitely wish him the best in future endeavors!

I'm now really looking forward to Bradley @ PG, and _______ @ SG?

Who y'all predicting? 1) Starter in first month? 2) Starter in January?

I, for one, hope this is purely individual players choosing based upon their own perceptions, values and goals, and not moves initiated by the coaching staff.

The former can be corrected by evolving a culture, and screening for more commited players.

The latter is a formula for chaos.

And, IMNSHO, uninformed as it is, we really don't know the answer to this! (Yet!)

I think the 2000-1 turnover was much worse. Loren Woods graduated, and Jefferson, Arenas, Wright and Gardner all declared for the draft. Jason Gardner was humiliated in the NBA camp, and fortunately came back to Arizona, but unfortunately for him he completely fell off the NBA radar. Wright only measured 6'6" without shoes at the camp, and had no outside game so did not have a NBA career.

What made it worse was that Lute was hampered by NCAA rules at the time limiting the number of players a team could sign. Forgot what it was, something like no more than 3 players a season could be signed, and no more than 8 over 3 seasons. This rule was to prevent coaches from running off players.

And obviously, no portal back then. Now it's much easier to reload.
