For the 1st and 2nd round now the overall #1 gets to pick what city they play in.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

Not really that big of a deal. Overall #1 seeds shouldn't be losing in the 2nd round no matter where they play. One of the comments I saw in the link stated that picking the region would be huge and I agree with that.

I agree. Choose either Geographically favorable OR weakest bracket.

Its a nice exercise in game theory/strategy.

I think the NCAA should do what the Jacklinqs ESPN TBT tourne mentioned does and that is offer 2m to the winning teams senior players. Reward the kids that stay all 4 years and man the intensity would go through the roof, LOL

This the tourney that Fogg played in and won. Half joking on this but it would be an interesting dynamic

The region choice wouldn't work for favorability. All the proposals have the school specifying a preference ahead of time. I really doubt the NCAA would ever compromise by revealing the draws ahead of time to any school.

As proposals go, this seems like a fairly tame one. 9 times out of 10 there won't be a difference.
