As much as I hate Duke and the favoritism shown them, that foul has to be called on the MSU player. The defender was stumbling and fell down in front of Jones' path -- who was simply trying to finish the offensive play. I would've gone ballistic if Nico Mannion was called for an offensive foul on a play like that.

The ref must have used the new 3 point foul emphasis where you must let them come down cleanly. Otherwise he could have just passed on the call.

Duke did look very good last night but it seems Michigan St always struggles early

I think the moral of the story is that I believe most other players would have stopped after stepping on the defender to see if the player was okay. ... not just strolling off like nothing happened while the players lays there...

So Coach K called for college basketball to "assess where we're at" with regards to safety and health after Duke lost by double digits. Now I'm not saying he is wrong, but man, it sure seems like there is always something when his team isn't great or isn't playing as well as it should. Because of this, he just doesn't come off as being very authentic.

Not in the first round anyway.

Pick him up in the second round and stash him in Australia or Asia or someplace for a couple of years and give him some time to grow up.
