Bal took 16 shots to score 17 pts. Nembhard took 19 shots to score 21 :P

How much do the Zags miss Tommy?

A shit ton I imagine. I was pondering Nembhard's inefficiency. Then it occurred to me what Tommy had been able to do with Love's efficiency.

I was so tempted to post about that game when it was coming down to the wire in the 2nd half but then I remembered that there are rules and I didn’t want a lecture from dovecanyoncat about our souls’ inevitable restructuring of the universe based on lucky underwear and karmic symbiosis.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

That Offensive fouls on the A&M guy who hit a three on that play might have been the worst call I have seen all year. Glad it didn’t cost the Aggies

Early Cinderella candidate: South Carolina

They've already got wins over Kentucky and Tennessee. That coach, Lamont Paris, is one of the better young coaches out there. Was an assistant at Wisconsin during all their best teams in the 2010s.

Cal might’ve taken heat for not fouling, but he also deserves credit for answering this question fairly, respectfully and honestly in the presser. A lot of coaches start melting down when put in this situation.

Interesting that Purdue shot so poorly from 3 today. They gave the impression against us that they’re a formidable 3-point shooting team, and I remain unsure if our 3-point D is that bad or if they just were strangely on fire that day. Or both.

We have met some teams that have gotten really hot from 3 on us, some was our D, but some of those guys just had ridiculous nights, nights they might have beaten anybody, we aren't beating a 16 seed that goes 67% from 3, neither is Purdue or UConn or Houston or Kansas. I REALLY loved how we came back and defended in the second half against Furd. That was encouraging. The guys know they can do it now.
