Weather here this week has been strange. Monday and Tuesday it was 90+ and sunny, yesterday had a huge extended rain storm and tornado 30 miles north, and today has had storm clouds in the entire valley but no rain yet. It's weird cause all the weather maps show rain covering the whole metro area. Whenever the rain comes this evening, it's going to be really brutal.

Man this Utah game has been fun. Love the way Whit is being aggressive. Going for it on 4th and 1 with 70 seconds left is insane, but man it worked out.

I think this game just means Arizona is going to win against Utah and get an L against USC again.

Especially with Lynn Swan coming in as the new AD. They're well on their way to 6-6 and a cactus bowl appearance which the fan base will not accept after being 17-10 the last 2 years.

And it will be interesting to see someone with no AD experience and no significant (as I remember it) AD type training then make a hire.

USC has all the advantages in the world, but if you put the wrong people in the places to make decisions, even at a place with all the advantages. you can get bad or even really bad outcomes. And there's a lesson in there not just for US(C) fans...

It appears that way.

Even more depressing is that the UA has just assumed Colorado's position as the bottom feeder of the PAC12 South.

Man, its a good thing to see CU beat Oregon but i think this is about Helfrich being a terrible coach. No way he should have hired Brady Hoke as a DC and his recruiting has dropped off. CU is this years UCLA, Arizona State, Arizona and USC. Juniors and Seniors leading the team and darn good seniors as is. It seems like no one in the south can be consistent year in and year out..

It doesn't apply directly (a one to one relationship).

But there is a relationship.

Time for a round of riddle me this Batman.

Hypo: Two SEC teams are playing each other in a match up of top ten teams, with the #7 team at the #10 team. The #10 ranked SEC team destroys the #7 ranked SEC team 44-7.

The question: Assume you know nothing about the other teams in the poll. What would you expect these two SEC teams to be ranked on Monday?

How many other SEC teams are ranked in the top 5?

I think this is an important question.

If there's already an SEC team in the top four, the #10 team goes to around #5.

If there's no SEC team in top four, the #10 team goes to 3 or 4.

Yeah. Byu is not a good team. They still have to play Michigan state, Mississippi state, Boise state and Cincinnati. They are a 6 win team maybe.

I think BYU like you said is a 6-6 team but given the difficulty of there schedule I think that is equal to any SEC team that plays 4 cupcakes and goes 8-4 and gets ranked in the top 25
