ACC "powers" Miami and Virginia squaring off on ESPN right now, and it's PAINFUL to watch. Especially on the Miami side of the ball, where 4-star recruits go to die. Watching Miami squander its wealth of talent with such a lifeless offense is like finding out Golden Corral tosses away 60% of their buffet food.

I mean how many times (?) is ESPN going to tease the audience with clips of Miami's glory years before cutting back to live play, which for the most part is Miami's simplistic offense getting stuffed again. What a waste.

Miami has won 0 conference titles since 2003 (has 1 division title), is 3-11 in bowl games (biggest win was a Peach bowl win in 2004, since then they've won 2 bowl games) and they've had 1 10 win season since 2003. Basically outside of their 10-0 start and division title in 2017, they've been completely irrelevant for 18 years.

Ol Miss/Arkansas might be 1B on that list, and the games happened at the exact same time.

You are right.

I didn't like the decision by Arkansas to go for 2 because the pressure was clearly going to be on Ole Miss going into the OT after giving up the tieing TD on the last play of the game.

Highly unaware Mack Brown takes zero responsibility for why his 3-3, preseason Top 10 North Carolina squad is the nation's most disappointing team so far:

Nice seeing Kwamie Lassiter II playing for KU, his dad's alma mater.

My daughter went from K to 3rd grade with him.
Super nice kid and dad, unfortunately Kwamie Sr. passed away several years ago. Great player for the Cardinals.

What a bullshit call for OU.

RB forward progress was stopped, QB strips the ball and runs for a 1st down on 4th down.

If Kanas had stripped the ball they would have said forward progress was stopped and no fumble.

It's different now though when starting with the 3rd OT it's just a single play per team.

I remember going to the Cal game many years ago at their old stadium, which ended up in multiple OTs. Dick Tomey said enough, and being on the NCAA rules board he was very instrumental in making sure such games didn't go on forever.

Guess it didn't work.

This new rule is going to make it worse as far as number of overtimes, less plays though probably.

Do they play on the same end of the field? Seems like a lot of useless going from one end zone to the other after each play.

That's decided each OT. One team pics either to defend or go on offense and the other team picks which end of the field to play on. They switched multiple times in the Penn St game.

In the first half.

That was pretty nice of tOSU calling off the dogs though, Don't think they would have v. UM.
