While I hate to see harassment any time and anywhere, the fact that this lawsuit on top of the blatant recruiting violations probe may bring the Death Penalty into the conversation for our friends up north.

Has the NCAA ever been concerned with this though? What's the old adage in men's hoops? The NCAA was so pissed off at Duke/UK/UNC they gave (insert small school here) a major violation?

I guess I could have said P5 schools. The money makers for the corrupt NCAA. They will probably be worse now in punishments given their cash flow has been trimmed due to the NLI

Imagine asu if asu is having a great start to the season and then the NCAA drops the hammer on them. It would be so nice if they had to forfeit all their games from last year, then the 70-7 win will be wiped out.

Sadly it doesn't work that way. Wins which are vacated by the winning team are still losses for the losing team.

This is a real shame because student athletes might suffer If ASU football blows itself up, but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

So in a practical sense, how does ASU's staff fill in for THREE missing assistant coaches? That's kind of a big deal when it comes to strategizing and game prep, right? Or does ASU bring all three back during zero week to get their players pumped for big bad Southern Utah?

If I know Herm, Pierce, and the rest of the staff, they’ll just sneak them up the back stairway.

They are getting paid so I think we should reach out to ABOR make sure they know that is unacceptable.

Assuming these two coaches and the TE coach already on leave are not retained, this will hurt ASu recruiting. Unless a position group or coordinator is struggling, most position coaching changes happen after the end of the Spring signing season, when kids are already committed. Even if a position coach/coordinator is fired after the end of the season, it usually gives time for the departing coaches to say a few kind words for his replacement, and keep kids he was recruited still in the pipeline. With three coaches down for an entire season, that's a number of recruiting relationships ASu will be missing.

Won't help on the field either. It's three sets of eyes that might have caught something or suggested a change that won't be there during practice or games.

My favorite part about all of this is that there is still so much that is supposed to come out. According to Wrighster podcast, even his ASU friend agrees, that coaches across America all have told them even worse stories that haven’t hit the press yet but will.
