Love hearing stuff like this that re-affirms athletics has a huge economic impact for universities.
I honestly think he likes FAU. Makes his own rules, everything is on his own terms, no pressure, they're winning etc.
Next year will be his last at FAU.
Of the 12 coaches, Rush picked the one whose fans have the deepest passion, the longest memories, the greatest lung capacity and … did I mention deep passion?

Him and Kendal Briles will find a new spot, possibly a team like Colorado

Looks like Nebraska is getting a heck of a coaching staff.

Wow, I would imagine these schools would find creative ways to keep those coaches income at a competitive level.

Looking at the state salary database, looks like the base pay is only around $300K anyway.

Also, very underreported that Chip Kelly's 24m deal includes buyout from 49ers

Well Nebraska turned the trigger on Scott Frost firing him today. He was 5-22 in one possession games since he was hired and never had a winning season.

Their AD is a former Player and Frost was a player but you have to wonder if they go that same route and who might be available?

B1G money helped because if they would have waited until 10/1 the payout would have been cut in half. Obviously they felt they couldn’t wait
