Yeah UCLA losing to Memphis and Stanford to SDSU isn't good. And if USC had lost to Texas 5rh PAC 12 would've been out of the playoffs by week 3.

and USC won on a field goal in the second overtime. Maybe there is hope for the Cats in the PAC.

Cal looks legit. Giving USC all it can handle. Weren’t they supposed to be one of the teams we could beat this year?

USC's schedule is pretty amazing

They are going to play the #14 team (W against Stanford) the #16 team (right now at WSU), the #20 team and the #22 team in the nation...and that's all the ranked teams they're set to play.

They're in an interesting game right now at WSU but damn, not playing a team ranked higher than 14 and only 4 ranked teams in total is a good recipe for success.

Heh so I wanted to compare USC's schedule to UW (#7 in the nation) schedule and UW's is even easier (2 ranked teams, #16 and #20) than USC's.

Basically means Oklahoma will have to go undefeated the rest of the way to get in the playoffs. Still have games against TCU, West Virginia, Oklahoma State and a possible big 12 title game to get through.

Anyone notice the escalation of words between Chris Peterson, ESPN and the PAC time slots. It was so bad that Peterson skipped out of a meeting with the two ESPN announcers this week and Herbie took him to task on his views on gameday.

Then during the game the sideline reporter compared UDubs schedule using 3 cupcakes (Rutgers, Fresno St , Montana) even though Bama played Fresno St and Penn St has played Akron, Pitt and Georgia ST.

ESPN and all the other conferences can go pound sand ripping on the Pac's OOC scheduling. At least the Pac schedules 9 conference games. Big difference.
