This might be why their offensive recruits are decommitting. Which is hilarious because Sean is who Rado fans were blaming for some of their losses. Lots of talk of the offense scoring too quickly and unable to play ball control.
He’s my boss’s brother-in-law so I’m an instant fan. Go Aztecs!

Prime Time wants to change NCAA recruiting rules.......he appears to be having issues

https://superwestsports.com/deion-sande ... ing-rules/

I can't imagine that very many HS football coaches like what he has done to former players of theirs that have been "Prined"

Prime still got like 16 transfers so they’ll end up with like 22-23 new players. No different them most teams. Didn’t they have like 75 new players, mostly transfers, last year?

He’s just going through withdrawals. Question, is did he get any OTs to sign?

Coach Prime's 2024 recruiting class finished 90th nationally on Rivals and 117th on 247 Sports with just 7 total commits.

Arizona still finished with a better class (82nd) despite our coaching changes.

UCLA still finished with a better class (86nd) despite Chip Kelly giving up and wanting a job elsewhere.

Is Deion not trying? I figured recruiting would be his primary strength.

Colorado picked up 5 OL, 6DL, and 2 Edge from Portal. Not sure how good they are, but most were rated as average to above average players. Guess it will be another wait and see year for Deion.

I see we are losing another recruit to Washington as I peruse the Portal right now. Bye OL Michael Watkins, probably following Fisch and Adam Muhammad to Washington.

We barely beat them last year and I think they've improved while we probably regress a bit. We'll probably lose to them this year.

Prime paying Colorado’s bills: “Sanders’ team lost their last six games to finish 4-8 on the season. But off the field, it was a resounding success in every way imaginable for Sanders and Colorado. That included a crazy 51% jump in the school’s multimedia rights to $8.1 million versus just $5.5 million a year ago as sponsors poured in.”

“The early hype last season brought an estimated $90 million of value in extra media coverage to the school. That’s just how popular Sanders is as a college football head coach and how much he rocketed Colorado into the national conversation instantly.”

Lol, the bull market ego of the Sanders family. Take whatever door opens in the NFL.

The other day USA Today had a article on Shedeur Sanders going to class for the first time:

“University of Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders attended an in-person lecture on campus for the first time recently, more than a year after he enrolled as a student, according to a video posted to his YouTube channel Wednesday.”

“The video shows him being trailed by videographers as he enters a chemistry class in Boulder, then causing a quiet stir during the lecture as some fellow students notice him and the cameras.”

Old timers might remember UA QB Tom Tunnecliffe. His dad must have thought he was the next Joe Montana because he called up certain NFL teams and told them not to draft Tom. Tom was a winner like Joe, but was too short and didn't have a deep throwing arm.

Looks like Tom worked for his dad, who recently passed away last year. https://obituaries.forestlawn.com/obitu ... unnicliffe

Coach Prime's unique recruiting approach...

Deion Sanders' Kids Recruiting Transfers Via DM While the Colorado Coach Avoids Home Visits

Stephen Douglas

The Deion Sanders era at Colorado continues to be a unique experience. Coming off a 4-8 season the Buffaloes' added Warren Sapp as a graduate assistant and they aren't stopping there. The school is looking to the transfer portal to improve its roster. So if you'd like to play for Deion Sanders at Colorado, simply open up your Instagram app and send a direct message to one of Deion's son. No, really.

This is an actual story that Shilo Sanders posted on Instagram on Tuesday after the spring transfer portal opened. If you're a defensive player looking to transfer, send him a DM. If you're an offensive player, hit up his brother Shedeur Sanders. Also, this is not Last Chance U.

It was reported last month by USA Today that since Sanders was hired by Colorado, he had not made a single home visit and had done all his recruiting from Boulder, choosing not to use his $200,000 travel budget because he feels it is a waste of money.

While it sounds nice to be frugal and not spend the university's money on traveling, making his sons screen transfer request seems a bit more odd. Is there no one else at Colorado who should be handling that? It sounds like they're recruiting players for a 7v7 tournament this weekend and one of their guys is going to be out of town. You would assume the other Pac-12 schools have a much more formal and organized process for sifting through potential transfers, but they're just built different at Colorado.

The good news is that if Sheduer and Shilo put together a good roster they should be able to finish ahead of Arizona State - the only Pac-12 team they beat in 2023—in the standings next season. Don't you love it when a plan comes together?

So you have your starting QB (son) look at all the requests to be the backup QB (the starting QBs backup). If he doesn't like you, or you are too good to be his backup, you might be denied being forwarded to the head coach for consideration.

At what point does the starting QB not ask for a recruiting salary for the work he does from the school? Maybe a $500k stipend. Or is daddy already paying him...?

There's a lot wrong here...
